Go for at least 2 GB of ram. 1 GB is sort of too little for gaming

gtx750 for laptop is equivalent to gt840m...both cards are pretty average for laptops. On performance side, yeah it's pretty average too...I mean you can run latest games on medium settings with laptop screen res. Wot will run at low/medium details with more than 35 fps which is really good.

If you need performance, go for something with 760m or above (if your budget afford you to do that).

The OP is talking about moving from a laptop to a desktop system for gaming, so that isn't going to be much help.

Your spending a decent amount of money on a really good processor and a good amount of ram you really don't want to be gimping yourself on buying yourself a really lacklustre GPU.If you cant afford it this month save until you can afford to get a decent GPU.The best bang for your buck cards are the GTX 970 and if you get one you will not need to upgrade for a fair few years. So many people buy sub standard components and then fall in the trap of constantly spending money trying to catch up .You may not want only want to play WoT and if you buy a crappy GPU your not going to be able play other graphic intensive games

My advice....save until you can afford to buy a decent GPU,you will save money in the long run.

If you only want to play WoT at low to medium then you will be golden. But I cant emphasise enough that you should never gimp yourself at the GPU level.
