To bad most of people who could use to learn a thing or two about game mechanics ++ never comes to the forum.

Why not work on getting a proper obligatory tutorial ingame that could learn people how the game works.

+1,

Would be much appreciated if this ``tank academy`` get updated regular and get promoted in-game aswell, promoting this kind of stuff ingame makes 10x more sense as those silly e-sport streams nobody watches...

About time!

Seriously, I'm going absolutely bonkers today, being top damage and xp in low tier scouts in tierX battles, and being top damage in a tier8 tank in a tier 9 battle despite having ammo rack and engine damage.
I'm absolutely, positively angry at the lamentably low skill of the average player, half of them not even being able to pull off TWO damaging hits before dying.

WG, your job now is to stop pumping out tanks, physics and that sort of thing and FOCUS on making sure your player can actually play the ****ing game properly, without looking like griefers who throw matches.

The new ones, and the ones, that are not so new, never did and wont read things about how to play, because those are some kids that are lazy for reading, so all what they do are take a fav tank, get in battle and...win of lose, anything else doesn't matter, not the way how to best kill someone, or how to hide, how to help etc. Jackasses everywhere.:child:

Russion OVER POWER!!! heavy ,td s...

too small maps for tier 8-9 and expecialy 10

....can t flank 90% of the time

CRAPPy MachMaking  with +/- 2 tiers ....exemple m6 vs t-32,kv-85 vs  IS 3 ...u don t want to go against Tiger 2 against mouse or E 100 ....CRAPPY MACHMAKING

Dont play more then TIER 5 ,more the fun is [edited]over...

this game is a publicity to what extraordinary the Russions are.

I sort of think SGTA's tankers guide would help here as well...

But a few things I noticed:

Block Quote

Very sturdy machines with strong frontal hull plates and practically impenetrable turrets...

That is exactly what the trade-off is: weak hull, strong turret. It's more to learn how hull-down works.

Block Quote

Due to the fact that they are generally much bigger than their counterparts from other nations...

Yeah you are now talking about the Panther/E-50 line. The Leopard line has kinda small tanks with lower HP.

Block Quote

the latter tolerates no mistakes but is much more dangerous...

If you mean by "dangerous", watch out for people shooting at you, then I say buy a camo-net and train a good camo-crew and you will not be seen again! And yeah, for that reason they are more than dangerous as enemies.

This Tank Academy thing is the first symptom of a terrible illness WG staff has. It's called "boredom"! :D

This is all well and good, but I figure we need good maps more than some vague descriptions of nation vehicles... it might just be me though :sceptic:

WG, you should get rid of those forced corridor maps, or, at least, give us some nice open ones too. I mean, you think of new CITY maps to add for tank battles?! What tank commander in his right mind would send his armor into a city?
