Easy answer that question.. There is only ONE danish semi competitive  clan, and that is Ace of spades, and not to offend them or any thing, but they are no where near their lvl they where at last year with the VK7208 CW event. Rest of the danish clans just seems to yolo about with little no aims nor any serious requirements to the quality of the members in the clan. They only requirement seems to be able to be "hyggelig" with others dudes. There is nothing wrong in derping around for shitz and giggles if thats how you like to play WOT. but dont expect high skilled danish players joining such clans.

Same reason as why so many UK clans but only 1 or 2 competitive. There are 4 types of player in this game.

  1. Good players that don't play the game to be ultra competitive, its a hobby and something they enjoy.
  2. Bad players that don't have the ability to be competitive.
  3. Good players that want to be competitive but don't want to spend months getting together other competitive players from their nation to form a national clan so join international clans.
  4. Good players that want to be competitive and are willing to spend the time building something, but usually this involves giving somebody else creative control and not a lot of TOP players like that, so unless you have a good commander with a likable personality then it will fail more often then succeed.

In summary, the Danish players you refer to are good but don't care, bad, good but don't want to work on getting a good Danish clan together, or good and they don't like the commander of the clans you are referring to and would rather try do a national clan somewhere else.

If there was an actual good danish clan I might join it, but atm the danish clans just aren't worth it.

edit:

It seems I was being unfair. There is a danish clan fighting in the campaign.

I have seen a few Danish clans, and some have great individual players, but until today I didn't know of one that had the resources to make stuff happen.

Anyway, sorry about my statement, I retract it.

Any country with a small spread playerbase tends to have tons of low tier clans with all the good players in international clans. Same with the Netherlands in that regard

Same goes for Germany. OK, there are more than one german national clan that has proven it's skills in the near past, to name just 3 of them: F4CE, OM and the very young clan MINNI (who are surprisingly successful considering their player-count used to be somewhere around 55 before the campaign started) which still needs to proof it's skills on the long run tho.

But then again, if I look at how many german players are wandering around in international clans, I'd say you could form at least half a dozen more competitive german clans and I bet the same goes for the Polish, Finnish and Swedish players.

It's absolutely irrelevant what country players come from, what matters is how many live in a particular country. The average percentage of people playing WoT, from my personal experience, grows across a fictional line drawn from the south-west of Europe to the north-east (meaning that there's a higher percentage of ppl playing WoT in northern countries such as the Scandinavian and eastern european countries, while less, compared to the total population, from Portugal / Spain / Italy play WoT - no offense).

And all statistics, theories and thoughts aside, the majority of clans is international and it's good that it's that way.

Well, we are still very much alive gents ;-) After a reconstrution, Ace of Spades are still fighting hard. Check us out at tank statistics and you will find that we are up to date again with good danish players. We are also playing 3rd campaign with 3 teams each day.

Oh, didn't know there was a danish clan fighting in the campaign.

I joined -MM today. Things may or may not have been different had I known about AOS.

Oh well, life goes on.

I believe many of you forget another player type in this game, which includes myself: even though I am from Switzerland, and could join most good German clans and for that matter if their ever will ever be any good Swiss clans, I wouldn't, for the simple reason that I like to play this game with other people from around Europe and be able to talk English with them. I believe the first reason applies to a lot of people in international clans as well.

I think the problem is that most of them, at least the ones I have seen, are chill/hygge clans.. seems like most of them are green or below players. ( Im danish myself. No hate :3 )

I startet out in a so called hygge clan. Was fun times, but when you wanna play CW or for special tanks in campaigns they just don't cut it. So most blue and above players will probably go for international clans ;)

it's pretty easy. there simply is not "enough" good Dane, not only do you need to have the players, you also need to have FC's actually can command, and have exp in it, and not just  a guy there say crap..

next problem is that if we just say there are 100 good Dane, then they also have to get along .. many Dane has it simply too easily in their daily day, so they cant handle that people say they fucked up or did something wrong, befor they go girly mode, and then The 100 guys Will go Down to mayb 80, then they need 20 more, they have mayb less good stats, then 20 more of The good guys go, cus "No [edited]Way I play with Them, they Will allways [edited]up".. So it Will be hard, with The playerbase there is.. Just my 25 cent ;)
