Customer Support consists (mostly) of a useless bunch of morons when it comes to any modification related topics, they have proven their incompetence time and time again. In some rare instances there might actually be someone who knows what they are talking about, but most of the time there isn't. Moral of the story:

Never ever trust Customer Support, you simply cannot rely on it. Only go with statements made by WG Staff members on the forum.

Customer support is A.I.

You always get automated responses, unless you actually press your point (keep repeating the fact that you don't apreciate automated responses with specific support requests, since they can not be resolved that way)

Helped with my last support request ~week ago

Found the problem, using "http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/441413-0917-autoaim-indicationaddins-no-proximity-snapping-for-autoaim-but/page__st__1580__pid__13686506#entry13686506" in the patch before and this installed a config in config folder, after deleting this, the errors must gone.

OMG.....

Thank you  Krzysztof_Chodak for coming up with this NEW wonderful solution for us to be able to "legally" use this mod still.

It works just as wonderful without the so-called "cheating" they falsely called it previously.

I have extreme difficulty using auto-aim, clicking on the tanks to do so, and it always causes me to get killed, so this new method makes me very happy.

It's why I started using your mod and loved it so much, it wasn't that I wanted to "cheat" it was that I couldn't play the game properly because of their crap system/method of auto-aim.

I may actually come back to this game now because of this, though not sure, I really don't like the dang physics that screwed up Light play.

BTW, you should likely now name your mod..... "Autoaim Indication Assist +addins".

Or.... "Autoaim Indication & Assist + addins".

So, it no longer "snaps" but assists you in activating auto-aim in an entirely LEGAL manner.

You can emphasize it as being wonderful for those with disabilities, eyesite issues, etc.

You still have to put your mouse over the tank, but it reduces ones difficulties if they have difficulty activating Auto-aim, which often get's you killed.

Quote what I just said here in your OP, so you can make clear it's legality as well as usefulness for the disadvantaged lol.

LOL, I had an even funnier name change suggestion....

"Autoaim Indication w/ Disability Assist +addins".

You have to make sure you hit the button BEFORE you put mouse on tank.

If you click on the tank, the auto-aim will activate and then deactivate, because it interprets the clicking as releasing auto-aim.

Happens to me too, you just have to get used to the new method.

However, the dev might be able to improve the mod to "prevent" the issue from occurring by adding an "if" code statement.

I.e. "if" tank is highlighted then the auto-aim activates or whatever.  So, the code just needs to be improved some.

I believe there's a line in the json for that actually, you can change the amount of time it will stay actively locked onto target. I believe the default is like 2.5 seconds, but I could be off a bit, if you go back a few pages to when he implemented the newest version with this function he explains it there. I think like maybe 4 pages back? I know in Aslains mudpack he has several preset time delays you can choose from also.

Ok   go to : support select   Technical Support : client issue

then you will for all to see ;

Text saying

I understand that game clients containing 3rd party modification software are not supported .

also wargaming.net in a reply said

Please be aware that we don’t support mods because they aren't made by Wargaming.net and they give players an unfair advantage!

Then now i refer you all to the game rules .

So thats what Im on about when I say : as my above post said :

Do you know what is meant by "mods are not supported"

Also you're arguing with a post that includes a screenshot that includes a comment from a WG STAFF stating that the mod IS ALLOWED.

Tankoppression, that's for tech support Edited! Of course they won't do tech support on mods that aren't theirs! That has nothing to do with the legality of mods. Which this particular mod has been through support at least a dozen times, and through staff at least a dozen times, and is well known and regarded as legal in it's current state. Krzysztof_Chodak has been through the ringer with this, basically rewrote it to be completely legit under the new policy and continued correspondence with WG Staff directly to make doubly sure. Tech support only ever gives you copy/paste answers and usually has no idea what people are actually talking about when it comes to mods.

TANKOPPRESSION, please learn the difference, and stop spamming useless information... you did the same in the XVM thread.

If no mods were allowed in the game at all - do you REALLY think that Wargaming would have a "res_mods" folder - and even create a new "mods" folder.

Please use the upstairs thing that most people call a brain. :D:facepalm:
