What the NA server gets in way of promotions is irrelevant, cuz that market has different levels of interest & competition to this one. All global brands incentivise differently in different regions, it's completely reasonable & normal.

Re the special, excellent, consumables just in time before my stocks run out and a camo discount so I can get camo for my Fury (which looks even more ace in camo). And free chocolate to help compensate how bad I am in my Leo PTA. TY WG.

Sadly no sale on equipment... Some of my tank with less reload, THAT is scary.

Oh well, let's save up then.

LOL - how dare you come on thread like this being grateful? Do you not realise that for millions of years, all posts regarding so called 'specials' are supposed to criticise and mock WG for their greed in not giving things away for free

NA is a challenging market for WOT's, the Yanks aren't as naturally into tanks as we are, & they face more competition in USA than EU. It's obvious & reasonable that with Fury in the cinema's and it being a Yank film about a Yank tank, it will peak what interest there is in America and WG are going to want to capitalise on that window of opportunity, to use missions & specials to get as many Yanks into the game or more regular with it as possible. And if they succeed it's better for all of us, cuz more money from USA for WG means more spent on the game to develop it. Fact is EU special is good enough.

edit re jagdcommander above, yep, I have caught a dose of reasonableness from somewhere, I'm in danger of it making me a fanboy!  I think I might have caught it from reading that we'll get a choice of reward tanks on the next CW's campaign so I cud be in for my dream tank, the VK72. I'm running out of things to sulk about.

Except we play exactly SAME BLOODY GAME.

I do understand that different markets have different rules but you must understand If we can one click and see how big difference is we have right to be annoyed :sceptic:

Not bad special anyway

For all of you who are jelly cuz of the US-weekend special:

Halloween is a really huge thing in America. We in europe only have some kids that celebrate it to get some candys.

But in the US even the adults go out and they even pay a lot of money for their costumes and such stuff.

It´s almost like our christmas!

Pommesbroetchen, in their quest to make the UK a mini USA, they're trying to make it a big deal in UK too now, the supermarkets are selling adult Halloween costumes, and the huge droves of perfectly & expensively costumed kids being herded from house to house on their begging sprees is unreal.

Not a bad special. Free Chocky and a days premium for just switching the PC on can't be bad. 50k a day for just playing as normal , Oh the hard work !  And Consumable discount , Well oh dear ! :honoring:

On another note however , you can keep the Furry (and yes I know how it it is supposed to be spelled ! )

That's funny, almost every kid in the UK celebrates Halloween too, and many teenagers and adults also make a big thing of it, costumes, parties, clubs etc. Inc nurseries, primary schools, early years, high schools, colleges, uni's.

Then again, I remember the same excuses being made one fathers day, and quotes of we too will get, and it never happening.

In the end marketing has no bearing, it's the staff in those different departments and their opinion on what a days work consists of and customer service.

It's like that in many euro industries now, no respect for customers, some guy who knows nothing about someone elses job deciding that what looks good on paper and gives an impresive graph is the way forward.
