In this thread: People who were never in a clothing shop. Damn, 165 EUR is completely within "average" price range - I've seen much higher prices (and much lower, too, but from a certain price the quality is questionable). Considering it is a brand clothing and aimed at a certain group of people, the prices seem fine to me.

You people are very mean criticising everything that WG try & do. Do you remember that perky cat that was going to tell us all about WOWP's over a series of fun cartoon episodes? We got one episode, you lot mega slated him and we've never seen the poor little cat since, he's probably been sacked and is living rough on the streets of Minsk having to beg for handouts.

Just do a quick search for European and US brand jackets and you'll see. 165 EUR for a wool-nylon jacket? Of course you can get one for 65 USD, but usual prices are 150 - 200 USD and you can get to 500 - 1 000 USD easily, depending on cut and brand. And it's similar for other stuff in this offer.

I mean... as one person once said: "Comparing price tags isn't gonna get me anywhere. The price of a video game doesn't necessarily reflect how cool it is. You have to decide based on your own tastes. If you like something you like, then it's okay to spend the money."

I like the design and quality and will consider getting some of the offer, simply because I like it and don't see a point in buying a cheaper jacket or something, that I might not like.

Frag off with these overly greedy money grabbing schemes, the prices are ridiculous when you could go to an army surplus store and buy the genuine article for half the cost.

Masterband is from germany i think. A german get minimum 2-3000 euro/month. 165 is nothing for them...

Lol germany has a massive low wage sector.

According to the berlin taggesspiegel roughly 2.35 million people are forced to work a 2nd job to make ends meet.

13 million are at risk of poverty or 16.1% of the total population and poverty is considered at 979 euro's a month for a single household and 2056 euro's for a family with 2 children under 14 and anyone who has to pay for his own bills knows that such a sum is absolutely too low.

I think the designs are really cool, the military styling is smart without being pro-establishment & make sense in relation to WOT's. It's unusual to see fitted stuff (with like darts on the back), and stuff like that is always expensive. It costs more to make and looks classier & more expensive for it. The prices aren't over the top for what this stuff is, I can't see what the complaining is about. It's either your thing or it's not, good that people who will like it & find it affordable now have a chance to get it.

Not sure.

But I can't see any bad in this, it's just something available to buy if you want to & can afford it. No ones being forced to do anything, no one's losing out in anyway (it's not even in-game content). WG aren't a supermarket, they are not here to cloth the masses. They have a good brand, they're using it to cross-sell other items that are pure profit for them & that reinforce & promote their brand. As long as they're good quality and no reason to think they aren't, within reason the more expensive those items are the more WG will make & the better they'll do cuz exclusivity will win out.

If there were questions on this thread about where the clothes were made, is it ethically manufactured or sweat-shop stuff made by children, what the quality / durability is like etc etc - reasonable & relevant issues, then fair enough. But complaining about the price or style makes no sense, it's like complaining about Burberry, what's the point, it's other peoples choice.

Good luck to you. Enjoy your new coat. Mine will be cheaper, look as nice and probably do a better job. Matter of choice and common sense really.

^ I won't be getting one, I don't care about brands, but I don't think anyone who can afford this stuff & does get any of this is making any kind of a mistake. If they get use & pleasure out of buying & owning it equal to what else they could of got out of that money spent differently then fine. And, fancy clothes don't really make blokes more attractive / successful, they make them more confident / positive and that's what makes them more attractive / successful. If someone felt special and confident in this stuff over & above how they'd feel in cheaper / other stuff, then, depending on their objective it may well be worth it. As long as the quality is good and it's manufactured in reasonably ethical conditions I can't see anything for anyone to complain about, it's just take it or leave it.
