So we're got the common red = tomato, which is actually a vegetable, but what about the other colours? They should also have standardized fruits, I suggest:

white = turnip

red = tomato (strawberry would be a better fit since its a real fruit but I wont go against the grain)

orange = apricot

yellow = lemon

green = lime

blue = blueberry

purple = plum

Heres a list of fruits by colour:

http://www.disabled-...egetables.shtml

Its for disabled people but it should suit the WoT community just fine.

I like this, very simplified! Tomatos exist in those colors as well so its not untrue to life either. :great:

Sigh, still no blue or purple tomatoes. I hate it when the elitistic stat-obsessed top players get support even from the kingdom of plantae!

FYI nuts are also sold in hardware stores. They are pretty nonedible though.

Tomato is the fruit of the tomato plant. That doesn't contradict the fact that it's a vegetable.

actualy tomato is a fruit (see wiki the only reason we have it as a vegetable is us import laws), so more fruity we need on this topic,

I beg to disagree.

Wikipedia says:
While it is botanically a fruit, it is considered a vegetable for culinary purposes [...]

Problem is that the term fruit has (at least two meanings) in english:
- One is botanical: the part of a plant.
- One is culinary: fruits vs vegetables

There is no scientific criteria for the culinary classification, it is purely cultural. But it is common to classify tomato to be a vegetable in this cetegory.

It is interesting to know that e.g. in German, there are different words for the meaning of botanical fruit (Frucht) and culinary fruit (Obst), and the problem never raises in the first place.
No German would ever call a tomato Obst instead of Gemüse (vegetable), while he will have no problem calling it Frucht in the botanical sense.
