In the last campaign OMNI begged everyone around them to give them their provinces for free, in the final days they held 17 provinces and "won" more battles than a clan could possibly have teams. It was a staged win in that sense, is such staging allowed? They did not win by their own abilities.

Its starting early this campaign anyhow

He has a point... the biggest WoT event for some time and a lot of empty spaces on the map.

RSOP we had good battles in the previous campaign and you fight fair, but staging is staging and its another matter and its regarding other clans. So why do you lose face now? new members?

OMNI did stage their victory in the previous campaign and that is a fact.

Where does the line against staging go?

NoOoOo... Why U wanna think people wanna do bad for you? Maybe they just think that you guys want to have an "own peaceful Island" just like it has been for almost one and a half year so far at UK..

Nah, seriously. I think there should be fame point reducing, specially when pulling chips.

Yes but if "someone" should be punished for this it's WG for making rules that promote this.

It's nothing new and has been happening ever since the "fame points" got introduced in 2nd campaign. Clans find out it's easier to get points elsewhere and just leave, sometimes they do this after you put chips on.

That said you can also have the opposite situation of staging fights to get max points as done for example by FAME and CYA with the Valhalla province swap in last campaign, also nothing against the rules.

--------------------------------------------

Personally I think the whole introduction of "leave map" button into campaigns has been a bad idea. (got added in 2nd campaign). Either keep it in with some penalty (ex. freeze all chips) or just remove it from campaign map completely.

And why should average or weak clans spend any energy feeding unicum clans? If they feel they can get better reward by jumping off the map and going for landings, then they will do it. If you are worried about not getting anyone to fight, then go pick fight with other top clans that are aiming for top points and are not willing to freeze their stacks by jumping off the map, but will give you a battle you so want.

Who you are going to fight is your own choice. Go for smaller and weaker clans and you will win every battle, if they choose to attend. Go for top clans and they will offer you a fight every time, but will kick your exhaust pipes some times. Don't complain if some clans are unwilling to give you autowin, but rather save their energy to battles that better suit them. Just pick something bigger that is unwilling to yield.

Not completely true Gnomus. You know my expression "excuses only make it worse.." Yes running is an option for some clans, but there is no easy battles with tier 6's anywhere, since it's totally rng and usually the one who gets the lucky hit first, wins the match. The fact is that so called "weaker clans" are hard targets with their camping tac's.

This 1 goes for runners and specially for ISO-Guilty who gave me special permissions in your TS

So you guys think its okay to rally up random clans around you to give their territories to you? And equally it is also allowed to sabotage other clans by pledging random clans to not fight them but rather leave?

Maybe you didnt notice but the reason WG got rid of Victory points for provinces held was to counter staging the global map play like OMNI did last campaign. Technicly this campaign is the fourth public beta.

No I don't think it's "ok", but it's not against the rules and it has been happening ever since the first campaign even without any famepoints. During the first campaign it caused the issues with people not having enough battles to count for the tank.

Yes it's fourth fifth public beta.  (3 campaigns, 2 "event")

Caused by WG trying to please the masses. With famepoint based-rewards even few guys in a weak clan can get the tank while it messes things for first 20 clans which also aim for overall standings causing tensions as to who gets to play and what will the strategy aim for, partly again caused by the weak clans running from fights cause they have a chance to get the tank otherwise. WG is probably satisfied as pleasing the masses is more important during CW events than top clans, this is partly confirmed by WG starting new proleague season at same time as campaign.

btw. Gnomus the way this first stage is set up it's best to avoid strong clans and go for easy points. Same as first stage in campaign 2. Hopefully the other stages will be different.

For your information it was 23 provinces  and your so called information about us is also WRONG.

You have no idea what we have done and who we have talked to so pls shove that STAGED BULL up yours pls.

FAME has a very good chance to win this campaign right now. Stop wasting your time crying in the forums about how unfair everthing is.

Yes it is. Winning battles is what matters. Good clans try to avoid other good clans, because they might get their stacks frozen and taken out of FP farming. But then you should not be surprised if weaker clans also try to avoid strong clans and refuse to give you autowins and rather fight other battles against opponents closer to their skill level.

If you want, go ahead and criticize rules, but don't expect other clans to make stupid decisions so you could reap the fruits. If you want to be sure opponents will fight you, then go against teams that have some change of winning you, otherwise there's little reason for them to show up.

Ew_ do you have any reason to believe all those clans next to you were avoiding you because some devilish master plan of your opponents who persuaded all weaker clans to leave the map just to annoy you and deny you fame points? Or perhaps those clans only watched their own self interest and fighting you wasn't part of the their plan? Perhaps there was no conspiracy and either you just get unlucky or you were positioned in wrong place on map. From those pics I can't know which clan or clans went off the map, so it's difficult to fathom their reasoning.

All our opponents have managed to gather their forces and given us run for our money, and several times even more than we desired for. Even RSOP managed to show up in our mutual battles and they didn't deny us fame points we were entitled to. In truth they got away with fatter FP purse than us, but for us fighting them was deemed more worthy than leaving map meekly, and we got our share of FP from those battles and kept ourselves in position to keep on fighting. Still I'd rather keep us away from RSOP level clans, because those battles are not good for FP farming. If there will be day when I have to decide if we send our full lineups against second rate clans or meet top clans, then bad luck for you. You get FP's from us only if there's something worthwhile for us to get in those battles.

Exactly, it's not the fault of the clan that they try to maximize their points at minimum risk, it's the fault of the rules. It's Ew complaining about that, I just complain about the rules.

Like it would help you fight better if they would change the rules ?

to be honest though:

Where is the problem in actually playing the battle, and THEN drop off the map.

Most of these clans don't have that many provinces on the map and surely have enough stacks to reland the next day.

I don't say it's against the rules, but it still is a problem that should get adressed by WG when they think about rules for the next campaign.

Especially since they caused this problem by themselves with the introduction of FP.

it is quite annoying tbh, you setup some battles, trying to get a battle for everyone in your clan and end up actually playing 2 battles out of 8 that should have been... (including encounters etc)

In the last day you took 13 or 14 provinces and lost one to a riot. So you are saying that in the last day, begging everyone around you that has no chance to win to give their provinces to you for free to deny another clan their hard earned win. And for them to not attack you. That changing the outcome of a campaign in such a manner not staging?

A lot of people here confuse staging with diplomacy.
