So I recently purchased the T37 (USA T6 light tank) and started with a totally upgraded setup - I had saved up free xp and had unlocked all the modules before playing. After doing so one would think that a tank would perform marvelously from the get go? Good lord did I under estimate this little beast.

I use a session statistics mod when playing and I found that if you do around 950-1000 damage per game in this tank, you will earn yourself around 4800 - 5500 wn8 per game!

Now I am not a "stat-padder" but I do enjoy playing this tank a lot as the credit income is decent, grinding crews on it is a breeze if you can do over a thousand damage per game in it (the experience gains are glorious) and it just wrecks any tier 6-7 tank.:teethhappy:
The tank also performs well in tier 8-9 games but, from what I have noticed it does not find that many tier 9 games! I am falling into tier 7-8 games pretty much 80% of the time and when I do find a tier 9 game the tank still performs miracles (well miracles if driven by a competent player but you know where I'm going with this ).

So I am going to ask two questions  -

1) Are you a stat-padder if you play this tank a lot?
 - I do play it a lot because it is too much fun and I gain a lot from it, this includes high   WN8 rounds - which intern makes my average go up rather fast.

2) Is this tank Over-powered in tier 8 games?
 - In tier 7, the answer is blatantly obvious but other than that I'd like to hear the communities thoughts.

All in all, thanks for reading and happy ammo-racking!

Who cares if T37 is a stat padding tank... If you have fun and enjoy playing with it, then by all means, keep playing it.. This is a game and games are meant for people to have fun.

Good point Nimmeth, still its nice to do well :). Just started the light line myself and I'm with the Chaffee right now. Love it to bits! Makes a ton of money and I seem to do well in it. Cant wait for the T37 and M41!

I am in the same boat as the OP. Played in campaign wanted to get some more practice with it checked the result after what I thought average game bout 1000 damage and 800 spot and boom something like 4 000 wn8.

So yes it is doing that but it is one dam funny tank to play as well. So I play it often but it is more because it is a pleasure to grind the Bulldog in it not because of the WN8 (it is nice to have it though :) )

Another one I have notices id the Japanese Premium Chi Nu Kai that is nuts as well as far as the WN8 goes.

Yes, WN8 in light tanks is good.  However, it is the fact the T37 is so bloomin good.  150 pen, mobility, camo...just don't tell everyone.

Its great tank to have and be good at. think all those clan wars t6 games :-) keep playing!

(i'd like to see it nerfed personally - just so OP in every aspect to other t6 lights  |or others buffed?!?|  )

Just unlocked this little fckker and hell yeah! Liked the Chaffee but it gets overshadowed by this one. I havent even got the top turret and gun... cant wait what it can do when fully upgraded and with a skilled crew. Never gonna sell this one :).

60185 WN8 battle   (defeat though....)

http://wotreplays.com/site/1422985#ruinberg_on_fire-tahko3d-t37

So far after 11 battles, averaging 7807 wn8 (stock engine, 90% crew without skills/perks except for the loader with 3 skils). The tank is so much fun, I'm gonna play it few 100 battles more before upgrading to Bulldog.

In tier7-8 battles on open maps it simply owns everything. (ammo capacity can be a bit too low in the long battles)

Keep the T37 and get the Bulldog. They are definitely both keepers.

Moreover I hope that WG see the clear difference in performance between the 9.3 lights and the ones previous to them.  This is especially so at tier 6 & 7.
At tier 8
WZ-132 - 731 expected damage vs 900+ of two of the new lights.

At tier 7
AMX 13 75 - 586 Expected
WZ-131 – 645
Hell, even the best pre 9.3 light the T71 has 712 vs 874 expected on the M41

At tier 6
MT-25 is at a lowly 365 vs the T37’s 632 expected

Now, I have read that WG will address the difference, but I do hope they do it sooner rather than later.  Surely it cannot be that difficult to either improve the performance of current guns or make a slightly better one available.

well, Storm have already said that they will gather stats from new lights and if needed they gonna buff "older" lights. But you gonna have to wait a couple of patches for sure.

Shame about wait really.  Anyone could see the new lights were superior to the older ones.

you know the laziness data collection of wg, it took over a year to nerf the kv1s and hellcat too.

not really, since you can't just balance out tanks based on stats of good players after først patch. And new scouts were made superior on purpose since they wanted make changes in the light tanks gameplay.

I would be expecting to see adjustments in the new t8+ light tank's stats in future. I would agree though, that light tanks needed something. What proves this change to be a cynical ploy is that none of the existing light tanks stats were altered / improved to make them more relevant. WG has chosen to introduce new tanks rather than to make the existing scouts better (which was a logical start point if scouting improvements were the true aim).

The old Chaffee was the same. But you still required skill to get a good WN8. So I felt it was just reflecting my true WN8 when I earned it.
