The cynic in me says that is done to promote the use of gold.  My point was more around it was clear the new scouts were a lot better and therefore they could have buffed the old ones at the same time.  JuntaUK’s was that they should “fix” the current ones first before creating new ones.  I am all for new tanks, but bloomin heck look at gun on the T37 and then look at gun on MT-25

dedicated scouts.. a gun does not maketh the tank!

Exactly. You want camo rating, speed, view range and small silouette. Then consider the gun.

but hybrids who can both scout and do damage are the future of lts.

The old maps are still good for it. I still love a good bush to sit and spot from.
