I bought T2 light since i read that it is fun tank to drive so let me share with you few observations.

Tank has auto-loader but the penetration is poor and accuracy is average + drum is not bit at all.

Tank is hard to drive since even it is small, it turns like a crane. maybe some heavies has better traverse ans gun traverse speed.

it has terrible view-range and even worse signal range.

only decent attribute is the speed, but also the acceleration is not great at all.

now you all ask, why should one buy this premium tank?

(wait for it...)

because it is tier2 and in 1/2 -1/3 battles it ends up in tier 4 battle as only one tier2 (have bilion of screenshots but it will not make any good to show it all)

once or twice i was in game, where also enemy team had T2 light, we were only tier 2

if you finished reading, you must have noticed it is big irony thread and never buy this thing unless you are masochist

It's a decent tank, a skilled crew with camo and binocs will work wonders since very few people know how to effectively counter you.

The only thing which makes me not want to buy it is only three crew members, that means I can't really train my crew for most of the american light tanks and I would really need something for my Bulldog or future T49 crew.

But why didn't you do proper research before buying it?

the tank is fun indeed, but those games in tier4 are not.

btw. if you multiply 260m viewrange by 1.25.....

It's very useful for crew training, get some optics/GLD/binocs in it, a crew with sixth sense and full camo and start trolling those high tiers with your speed or camo...

325 meters, decent for tier IV but again not great. Still you have superior camo and speed.

Why it sees tier IV? I don't know, ask the devs what the idea was but it's still an okay tank.

tier2 light tanks sorted by camo (stationary)

camo is average, nothing special

Yeah, I don't know what WG is thinking with that one.

M2 light tank is quite similar and fun, though.

T2 Light Tank is the worst tier2 tank (when it comes to winrate). It's somewhat saved by the fact that if you're top tier the tank is good and fun. If you're not it's useless.

Use the speed and murder from close distances... bit more skilled sealclubbing.

It also climbs very well... very good tank for mountaineers :harp:

try and use it as a gun 'n run ambush type tank, using auto aim, GLD, snap shot & smooth ride to your advantage:blinky:

"fun" and "good" does not necessary mean the same

T2 is insane fun cos speed is freaking awesome

(my opinion) To be really great it'd need more view range OR turn rate (to act as a superscout or as a circle killer)

And i'm NOT saying people can't be gods in this thing. It's all about what works for *you*. But fun, helluva fun!

It is a premium tank, and it is very cheap to run. It is quite hard to earn money with the gun, since it struggles to damage even its own tiers stablemates (but if you see a Brit Medium I or II, you are in for a treat), but you can earn quite a bit if you play it as a scout - but one suited to tier I-III players.

What you do is put cammo on it, quite cheap for silver, and a cammo net, and binoculars. Find yourself a good bush to hide behind. When you see an enemy pop up, engage auto aim. If you wish you can light them up by pressing the T button, but what you should do is SHOOT the target and then run away... the enemy will likely try to shoot you, thus allowing the rest of the team to see them and open fire. Providing you are able to see the enemy from time to time you will be recorded as assisting your team and the spotting damage will be yours - you can even shoot from time to time and perhaps even earn some damage yourself. When they are destroyed or your auto aim otherwise disengages, rinse and repeat.

I also think it is a handsome looking little thing. I have some fun in mine, and the only reason the WR is so low is because it is my daughters tank and she plays it like a camping td.

I didnt like this tank at all, while it was somewhat fun driving in a stright line the thing had the worst turn rate ever. It as it has 47deg/sec man that must be some sort of error this thing does not turn that fast or even close to it. I also i dont get how the pz1c with a 7.92mm gun has 3 more pen then they 20mm hispano.

Guess you didn't do your research.  It has special matchmaking because it is/was OP.

Got it in a mission a few months ago, played a few games with it (mostly in tier 4, ridiculous), and never used it again anymore.

A big POS.

One of only 2 premium tanks I ever sold^^ The MM of this tank is likely the worst of any tank in the whole game. Most of the time you are the only tier 2 tank facing mostly tanks you can not pen anywhere even with gold...

I have it already and it was fun in the beginning. However, the fun didn't last that long (trolling newbs isn't actually a passion of mine), now it's standing in my garage, covered with rust. I'm thinking about selling it and buying the locust instead. Nearly as cheap as the T2 and also a great fun machine, a little more useful as a crew trainer and, of all things, it's more capable of carrying your team.

Sincerely I just keep it in garage to use for fun when I'm bored or to drive jumps in training rooms. For the rest... it's clearly not a tank meant for random battles. maybe in tier II it can work, but above that it's completely outcomed by the many other better tanks.

I do think it would need a normal MM and not up to 4 (come on, the speed doesn't make it relevant to play tier IV, it just dies faster). But for the rest, it's premium and I don't expect it to be better than that.
