I have T2 Light Tank, and I'm pleased with him. Very fast, agile. Weak armor. weak radio signal. Although, from the side and from behind enemy inflicts damage even some tanks 4th level. Maximum destroyed tanks with him - 9.

 

Skill crew that I currently own on it:

 

Commander - a sixth sense (100%), brothers in arms (100%), snap shot (100%), camouflage (43%)

Driver - off road driving (100%), brothers in arms (100%), Smooth ride (100%), camouflage (43%)

Radio operator - boosting signal (100%), brothers in arms (100%), relajing (100%), camouflage (43%)

Equipment: improved ventilation, binocular telescope, camouflage net.

Consumables: smal repair kit, smal first aid kit, manual fire extinguishers.

So his main ability is speed, and it should be used. Very good for fun and entertainment.

Are you sure you have a 100% crew? Personnally, I have a 100% one with 6th sense and Off-Road Driving and it turns perfectly.

It needs drawbacks, cuz otherwise it's OP. I use Optics on it.. 260m+26m= 286m, which is much better.

only decent attribute is the speed, but also the acceleration is not great at all.

Are we talking of the same tank??? 32 hp/w ration is one of the bes in the game.

because it is tier2 and in 1/2 -1/3 battles it ends up in tier 4 battle as only one tier2 (have bilion of screenshots but it will not make any good to show it all)

once or twice i was in game, where also enemy team had T2 light, we were only tier 2

Why does it meets Tier 4? Because it's OP as **** in Tier 2 battles. Even in Tier 3 you can manage pretty good scores. (I don't meet Tier 4 as often as you)

I know it's hard.. You won't carry those Tier 4 games, but you can still scout. However this is the hardest gameplay in the game.

Or that you need to learn to master it. Problems often comes from the tanker, not from the tank

I have no Idea of how you play it. Maybe you rely too much head-on engagements or go too fast too far, where your allies can't cover you...

 

Personnally, play it when I want a bit of challenge, but not too much because sometimes it requires a lot of concentration. I'd rather to drive my Locust and pwn people from afar/on the move...

 

Could you tell me how trained is your crew? 

And do you have any replay of one of your "standard" games?

Why buy the T2 when you can buy the T127, that thing is well sold and a much better buy.   I believe OP didn't do his research first.

T2 Light is a horrible tank.

 

o no view range

o bad turning rate

o up to tier 4 matchmaking and you're a useless scout (see bullet 1)

o tier 2 games are just so stupid :-) (well tier 3 is not that much better but little anyway)

 

rage sold it - DONT BUY IT. M22 Locust /  T-127 are much better and more fun

It has very bad MM. It has all the flaws you describe and it is not a good tank. There is a reason it is included for free with almost every invite code you see around.

This tank shouldent meet tier 3 let alone tier 4. cant pen a T18 anywhere without gold spam. seriously i shot the behind of a T18 everywhere with 4 clips and only 3 out of the whole lot penned him. how is that balanced? 30mm pen guns have no place in tier 4 nor tier 3.

I bought it to get me a couple of new commanders for the Bulldog and T49, to unlock 1st skill quickly (6th sense on scout is VITAL). I can tell you, it didn't take long!

 

After a few painful encounters with tier IVs I must confess I run it with quite a few clips of premium ammo (for credits). So it's a bit of a credits sink.

 

It's the fastest tier II, also uphill. It reaches top speed in seconds, but bleeds (like a Stuart) on cornering. This speed gives you the ability to choose your battle. Hurry to a good bush and spot, harass, drive-by shooting, or flee. I quite like the little go-kart

A friend bought me a Lowe, T2 Light and Micro-Maus when i began playing Wot and those were the only 3 tanks I played for like 6 months, I liked the T2 Light lots....Until WG nerfed it's mm.  Previously it would only have +1 mm but now it has +2 and a high portion of the battles you see in it will be tier 4.  It's pure fun in tier 2-3 battles, I often thought of it as a mini-Bat-Chat but at tier 4 against Matilda's & Hetzer's....Forget it.
 

 

I guess they altered it's mm because it was over performing.  It certainly was in my case but it's still fun.

Try shooting the T18 right under it's gun.  That's a huge weakspot.

I liked mine a lot, then i had 30 subsequent battles with tier IV. I don't really like it anymore now. It was fun with the speed and the gun is okay at tier 2, very meh at 3 and downright useless at tier 4. At first in tier IV games i would hunt for the enemy arty but what a nasty suprise it was that the gun can't pen a lot of them. The slightest angle will completely ruin your chances of penning anything. So well if they'd remove the tier IV mm it would be great, but i can see that it can indeed be overperforming then. But lets be fair, a T2LT has no bussiness in tier IV, a place where shooting tanks with that gun equals throwing pudding at them.

lookin at wotguru it says rear of the tank and such is almost flat with 32 on top part. tiny slice of 13mm and bottom part is 25mm? thats a straight up lie. my 30pen couldent go threw the rear at 0 angle. just under the gun is 44mm thick and the rest is pure red like 51mm red. its immune all over to autocannons at tier 2 what a joke.

That's T18 weakspot:

 

 

It's 16mm thick, but quite sloped, so it is equivalent of like 25mm if shooting from the front.

That's the UFP, not the 'part under the gun'. See that red strip of thick armour under the gun? That's the 'part under the gun'.

I don't like this tank either. But I got one good game though. 1553 spotting damage. Not bad for a tier 2 tank. Have my best crew on it.

Its a good tank in its own tier and when the MM decides to not spam anything with a german light tank hull (30mmfront) and T18's you simply cannot and will not ever pen. heck M2 Medium side armor is bounce city too. if the stars line up and baby jesus is born then maybe MM will take pity on you and you will get a GOOD match.
