I have been wanting to build my own computer for a while now and so I am finally getting around to it.

I started out with a modest build

AMD A series dual core processor at 4.1Ghz

8Gb RAM

AMD R7 260X

1Tb HDD

with all the trimmings (headset, mouse, monitor etc.)

All for around £450

I have ended up at

AMD FX-6300

8Gb RAM (soon to be 16)

Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X with a 1.08Ghz standard clock

1Tb HDD

Soon to be added 120Gb SSD

Plus all the trimmings

coming in at around £800

The costs skyrocket as soon as you look at the different option each time going huh only slight price change for all those extra frames. So as I have said

Awesome choice of processor by the way... It's what I should be getting soon enough when I build my PC.

You'll probably use an SSD for the operating system, right? I'd recommend you to buy 256GB, because 120GB won't be enough, especially if you're going to have some games installed on it.
