Following out of curiosity. Fixed some of the undeserved negrep :great:

Yep, same.

Bad players simply do not want to know its all down to them, they NEED to blame their teams, the MM, WG, Rng, Premium ammo, Premium accounts, and the fact they can't find their socks cos the sock monster has taken them....

It still staggers me the amount of 10,000 + battle tomatos with WR's in the 45-47% range in the game, it shouldn't, but it does.

I mean, its not hard to get 48-49% WR, it really really isn't.

Hmm, an interesting experiment there. The results does not come as surprise for me to be honest. Although I do have bad streaks in WoT too I've learned to just go on with the flow, knowing that the game will get better if I try my best(my recent Type 58 grind should be an indicator to this, I got surprisingly good results with it despite the lack of gun depression and the low pen hurts in higher tiers.)

Have a +1 from me. Keep up the good work, even if convincing some delusionals of them being their own downfall is hard, or even downright impossible.

Do you by chance have your replays uploaded/plan to upload them? I'd be curious to see some of the positions you take in your medium tanks(since I want to start looking into medium tanks sometime. After the Type 58 heavy tank mobility is making me cry sometimes.) as well as to see how should I play these tanks properly.

Interesting experiment.

However a little flawed I feel. While you have done the utmost to replicate a.new player joining and going totally f2p there is one difference.

You are already well versed in how to play world of tanks. So while a very good effort and I so applaud you for trying with very good intentions IMHO and only in that you've basically proved that someone who already knows how to play can still be very good irrespective and appear even better.

If I've missed that this was to prove that a bad player is just that a bad player irrespective of having everything then yes you've proven that

I believe that's exactly the point he wanted to make.

Yes, me to. I would really like to see how "unicumns" plays "stock" tanks and how they grind up to T10.

It is really painful to play Cromwell with crew below 200%  Mostly because of six sense, while camo would also help, but It is not that critical in the end. (Btw I still have crew in Cromwell below 100%   :(  )

If you have battle recording enabled please use vBAddict for replays. It is way faster than WoTreplay, just let the "updater" to do it in the background, without even bothering you that much (unless you want to play WoT ofc)

Also there is another flaw. If someone says you have cheated, you can't really prove that you didn't. Gold usage is not in the stats, so you would have to stream the whole thing. The problem with mods can't be proven without that either.

IMO this experiment would be more optimal (and very expensive) if a non-believer would get tons of gold and mods and then show what he can do with it. Then you can pretty much rule out cheating arguments (unless he is using real cheats like forbidden mods) and then the result can't be denied by anyone.

Or even better. Just don't care about it at all and if you want to compete, then play competitive game modes, not randoms. It's not that hard to farm enough credits to play team battles or whatever with fully pimped tanks. And now that I think about it, why are you even bothering? Farming for a T10 tank on a free account takes a lot of time and it seems like a waste of time, because non-believers will deny your results anyway.

To be honest, I am only following this topic for the T-54. Is it possible to get good stats by flanking, playing like an agile medium tank, instead of spamming TX TD penetration cHEAT shells all over the battlefield.

My T54 is HEAT free.

Gl with the topic.

Fair points

Might be worth asking someone who is statistically bad at the game to do the same as the first poster.

See what the outcomes are. I mean I've seen players this weekend with over fifteen thousand games who's stats were well rubbish.

If a player like that did this it would be interesting I think

Just curious, why 12 battles in the T1?

MS1 would make a little sense but T1 is a dead end for the purpose of the experiment?

Was before I decided to go along with this experiment and it's simply the best for owning tier 1 and earning credits.

T-34-85 is a beast... but I only really like it now after I have a good crew in it with 6th Sense and camo.

I changed the equipment to Optics, rammer and GLD and often act as a sniper in tier 8 games, and try to play vision games early on. It seems to work pretty well as T-34-85 has a pretty good view range on a tier 6 vehicle. Later on, you can attack crippled top tier heavies and finish them off. I actually play it a lot like a light tank.

Winrate is 59% and climbing.  No mastery badge yet however...

I agree that can be a good way to play it, however since I lack crew skills and 6th sense in particular I'm not going to play the peek and spot game with my enemies. :P

I believe I have about 150 replays saved now, I could try to upload them though it will take me ages and they'll be unsorted.

It's not intended to be compared to a new player.

I've used that on my PC but not sure how it will work running in the background on this thing... I'll try it.

I'm planning to stream some of my progress when I get back to my apartment since that net can easily handle it, but it's true I have no "proof" right now apart from the 150 last replays. Though I'll try to upload them.

Mods can't be proven, that's true. I don't even use them on my main account though as I play ESL.

If you are persistent, it can't really go wrong. You can farm all the credits you need on T5 and T5 is easy mode even for my taste. It's because free players often quit or buy T8 premiums sooner or later. T5 is full of reds with a few hundred or thousand battles. With enough patience, everything can be farmed, but it takes a lot of time. Just a few more thousand battles in your T-34 and you will have all the credits you need. Just.. a few... more... THOUSAND.

I'm actually thinking about how I'm going to earn credits later on. I'm getting 12-15k profit quite easily in the T-34-85 so maybe I'll earn it there, but then I need another crew too...

Is anybody able to explain how I didn't die here? I was almost laughing while driving my tank.

11:32 on the clock and 2 minutes forward, just after arty deletes my hp.

Yup, AoA got just lucky with his two accounts! IF he would start an other one, he surly would be a tomato, because of rigged MM, WG guided RNG. Also the know him by his IP now and that will be a huge difference. Also... potato mashers!

(I love the ideas of some people in this forum)

Spoiler

3rd ace and the highest exp so far in the T-34-85.(wotreplays link)

1333 base exp and top gun.

I saw a forum topic previously asking about how people could achieve low win rates.

Well the T29 in this replay is a prime example. He's not doing terrible, he's top tier and dealt 2000 dmg.

However... he has a 47% overall WR. How? Watch his driving and how he's almost getting me killed time and time again because he's apparently either unable to control his tank or just oblivious to his surroundings or doesn't care about his team.

In the end he nearly loses a duel with an E-25 and I can't help him much as I have 8hp and I'm certain not only the E-25 will target me if I poke out but judging from his previous actions the T29 will no doubt shoot me in the back.
