It defended post-war Czechoslovakia (as ST-I) and Switzerland bravely for many years!

Edit. I like the neg-rep, nice touch.

Edit 2. One has to admire the ignorance-arrogance combo(most of) this community has.

I really like the Hetzer! That's why I have 1666 games on it! :P

Some people call it HEATzer...fail? HEAT ammo is a waste of time, I only had 2 of them and 18 HE shells. I found HEAT only useful vs the 3 Matilda fronts and to 1 shot M7's and M4's.

Always assumed that the Hetzer came before the StuG - due to it's position in the German tank tree - so very informative episode.

Excellent video, ty :-) But now I want my Hetzer back. And that's a problem cuz I already want my Stug & JjPz4 & Pz3/4 back, and already bought back my Valentine & a Matilda. WG pls find a reason / mode for me keeping all my low tier WW2 tanks (seal clubbing in randoms is not a mode).

Think that still comes from the time when it had 150mm of HEAT pen on its 105mmm instead of its curret 104.

Nice video still, would love to see more! Maybe a Tiger II?

I see now why germans had to make those glass cannons in ww2. I could never understand why they didn't employ sturdy anti armour vehicles they had in their arsenal. Battle of production was far more cruel for german army it seems than the quality of vehicles on allied forces.

Think I've read somewhere that the Crews of the Hetzer tank loved the radio operated MG 38, but only down side, the loader still had to open the hatch and reload the gun manually making him exposed to fire. It had low bullet capacity per clip....50-75 rounds...

Still it ain't that small considering that the T-34-76/85 had even more cramped space than the Hetzer, in most cases the T-34 has to be operated by children, especially the driver. Think there was some war documentary covering that field where the crews of Soviet tanks were around 15-16 years old.

The ingame hetzer is an awesome machine, frontal armor can bounce even 122mm shots at point blank
