Hey Wargaming team,

there is still a small window of opportunity to make tokens available for gold (in game or via account management). I know it's not going to be as profitable, but it would be a nice gesture and would take away some of this sour aftertaste of having bought gold for real money at some point and now realizing that the times when you could buy everything for gold have gone and more and more things become exclusive to the gift shop, for more real money.

How about it? :)

This offer sounds pretty reasonable if you need one or two nation to fulfil whole WZ-111 mission. Spending 10 on tier VIII premium tank seems profitable :coin:

Gave up on this challenge some time ago, for a couple of reasons.

Its a Chinese premium heavy tank so I can only use it to train one line and probably 4 tanks I can train crews for, if it was a German or Russian heavy it would be of much more use.

The 112 premium is comparable and takes less effort to get so if you ever expand the Chinese line and I need a training tank I can get that.

So really its just a collectors tank and sorry but that much time and effort just to say hey I got this

I did try but a weeek into the contest I  got the Russian part done

2 weeks later and im 50% of the way through the German part zero on all the others and getting very bored.

Holiday period too much to do too many bad games when I do try.

Took a break came back figuring I could buy 1 maybe 2 tokens 3 at the most so it was doable.

Sadly you introduced the new British line and I am having far more fun grinding the 2 new lines than trying for the WZ111.

How can u charge 70 euro for a tank, really?  It's just a regular tank that u can get in-game for free but with a different graphics model !!

If you look at it this way, by simply adding the value of the tokens, it certainly seems overpriced. But this is missing the point.

The price difference between what the tokens cost and what they would cost if it were just one seventh of the normal list price for such a tank (~45€;) is not that high; merely 3.5€. Of course that adds up to 24.5€, which is not nothing, but most importantly, the fact that this would feel seriously overpriced is what makes people play parts of the mission instead of buying them. And it is pretty safe to assume that the purpose of missions is to get people playing for some solid time, to give them a task that binds them to the game. So Wargaming actually wants you to play some parts of the mission.

I wouldn't be surprised if the WZ-111 becomes available for buying at a later point, and if that is the case, it will certainly not cost more than the Löwe costs now. But for now, it makes sense that it costs more.

By the way, it turns out that the price is pretty close to what I guessed tokens would cost. I thought 2000-3000 gold would be a price that reflects the value of the tank and the considerations above. The only thing I didn't expect was the exclusivity to the Gift Shop. :(

To be honest the cost of the tokens seemed far better value than doing the actual missions considering the majority had to be done during Xmas and New Year.

That said, for the majority of players this was way too costly in time required or monetary value, and rather low and greedy of WG.

I personally think that the timing of the event, and the fact that many players would not have the required tanks for all nations, and that the damage and kills was going to be a slog of a grind that would alienate many players during the festive and holiday period, was clearly deliberate and intended to direct players toward tokens.

They were banking on token sales, not so many players turning the random battles into muck as they attempt to farm damage and steal kills by any means they can, as they attempted to get some rare premium tank.

Great if your a teenager living with mom and dad and got as much time as you want to play, or a single bloke on your own, not so great for many of them working or with families and commitments.

Of course they are banking on token sales and this is the hard sell time. Time is running out and there will be an awful lot of people struggling with still 2-4 to go, this is the target hey are hoping for, pick up sales from the people who just won't get it done and it will work.

Hey MM,

There are two issues that need to be discussed in the council.

1. Wtf is it? WZ-111;

Is it Tank? Do you think that all this effort deserves this tank? There are many things missing in this tank if we need to match with other TIER VIII tanks. What were you (WOT TEAM) thinking when u were designing this crap?? There is only armor, but nothing more!!! I was expecting much better from you WOT (as professional). Everybody says that WZ-111 is crap!!!

2.About BALANCE in the game, U guys need to work on it.

WG tends to charge similar prices across all servers.

No Tier8 tank even comes close to 17,500 gold (Value of tokens added up) but the "base" is 12,250 gold.

This tank might just come up for sale around the $55 / €45 / £35 mark later in the year, so why spend so much now?..

That 20% price hike we paid for the tokens probably wont exist if they use it as a standard priced web item, but hey, that's just me.

The tokens were overpriced on the EU server, They said it was tied to the gold price in the shop, that would have made 2500 gold cost anywhere from €11.25 to €8.20.

This has been said over and over again and is also on the webpage.

- You will not see it in game

- When you complete the other 6, you will get the tank

- You should have received an e-mail that you have paid for it

- The reason why you don't see it is that you still get 3 premium days and 2.5k gold should you complete the Japanese before the end of the mission.
