Truth be told, "flaggans dag" is what, 20 years old? Thought you didnt really celebrate it either, until you decided to copy our 17th of may(Norway) :D And wasnt it supposed to be moved to sankhans aswell?

Anyway, back on topic, congratulations France!!! :Smile_honoring:

The English people may be exemplary? You and all English people should stop criticizing all the time french things for any reason. You are not aware that the war between french and english is over? Or you are upset because there is no British tanks in wot?. <_<

no offence to the French but who cares.....are we going to get this for every country that was either involved in the 2nd world war or had some historic thing happen 300 years ago, a few things that happened this day many years ago.......

1420 - Battle at Vitkov Zizka's hill (Prague): Taboriets beat Bohemia
1520 - Battle of Otumba Mexico: Hernan Cortes & Tlascala's vs Aztecs
1714 - Battle of Aland, Russian fleet overpowers larger Swedish fleet
1865 - 1st ascent of Matterhorn
1944 - US assault on Coutances Cotentin
1945 - Battleship USS South Dakota is 1st US ship to bombard Japan
1948 - Israel bombs Cairo
1953 - Communist offensive in Korea
Or this one thats linked to the well done  :Smile_honoring:
2002 - French President Jacques Chirac escapes an assassination attempt unscathed during Bastille Day celebrations.

Get ready for tomorrows celebration of
1099 - 1st Crusaders capture, plunder Jerusalem
1410 - Battle of Tannenburg-Teutonic Knights vs King Ladislas II of Poland
