Suggestion for Stronghold attack\defence rewards

This is just a suggestion so don't kick off.

 

Any type of system needs to use a marker from WG themselves and not from any external system like WN8. So, for example I will use the top rated clan FAME and the 500th rated, GLOF, as at the time this post was written.

 

FAME have an overall rating of 10,718.

GLOF have an overall rating of 6,472.

 

For this example we will take the higher clans rating of 10,718 as 100%. We will take GLOFs rating and compare it to FAMEs rating and see that GLOF have 60%  compared to FAME. Therefore, if these 2 clans meet on the battlefield in a Stronghold attack, made by FAME, FAME can only get 60% of what they get currently.

 

Let's do another example. FAME again (tough at the top) and this time, EFE with a current rating of 10,672. The same calculation puts EFE at 100% (99.57% rounded up) so FAME would get 100% spoils.

 

So, let's say that GLOF attack FAME (like, yea) Using the same method as above, we see that this time GLOF are at 166% (10,718/6,472*100) so GLOF would get a 66% bonus for beating FAME. Any system has to work both ways. The defenders, if victorious, would be entitled to same % as detailed above. So if FAME successfully defended against GLOF, they would get a 66% bonus. Likewise, if GLOF repelled the attack by FAME, their rewards would only 60% of the benchmark . Shame, but let's be fair about this. As you can see what's at stake is based upon the rating of the attacker. It probably needs tweaking and as I sincerely doubt anything like this would ever be introduced, it's also academic.

 

This is the only thing that I can think of that uses a Wargaming derived rating system and could be implemented by them if they wish. Consider it a handicap system to try and stop the raping of lower skilled clans by the so called unicum. Or, if not stop it, at least reduce the rewards for such cowardly action.

 

Apologies for using GLOF as an example but you were sitting in the convenient 500th position. No apologies to FAME. Or EFE.

If you dont know how Stronghold Mode is played, why do you even try to improve it/change it?

 

Right now, the plunder earned in Attacks/defences is defined by the lvl of your Buildings that get attacked. It is 20% of the duration of those Buildings. Which means that Superunicum-Clan X has to loose much more out of their T10 Buildings than IPLAYFORFUN-Clan Y with all their T5-Buildings, in case of an attack from Clan X to Y or otherwise around. Which is in fact the exact same principle as you suggest here.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I only played SH when we were building stuff and not been involved in attack defence. I made this post based on the other threads. 2 +1s for your replies. If this is the case then what are the other clans moaning about?

TBH, If FAME attacked me and they stood to lose £1 and I stand to lose 20p, it'd be worth it for the experience. Plus, you might actually win.

But people want easy Bonusses. They dont want to fight FAME. People also want easier Personal Missions. Or easier Reward Tanks. Or easier maps with more corridors. Or...

its not about whining its about giving the play for fun clans a chance most play tier 6 or tier 8 its hard work to go up a stronghold level

most cannot field a stronghold defence team of tier 10 so why not have tier for defense staged or picked by defending clan we happy to fight better clans for experience and to learn but not at a level where we cannot field a team stage the tiers according to the stronghold level its not rocket science
