Yeah it would be nice, but depends if it has been rebalanced (nerfed) as a prem  vehicle

As premium it would be a tier 5 with historical (stock) configuration and pretty hard to balance.

No longer in my garage - wont miss it.

I finally concluded that that the only thing Afk Panther had wrong was the huge profile. Other than that it was a good scout tank (not light @ 40 metric tons).

+ Good gun

+ Good mobility for 40t tank

meh camo

- huge profile

Avaiting the replacement with Zeal

I do hope its this one:

Yes, that's the replacement.

AFK Panther was good only because they gave it completely fake components, the historical tank was the stock configuration.

It was good at what exactly? being a tier 5 medium in a tier 10 match? outclassed by even tier 6 lights?

I got to like it is was a great sniper got worse with the damage nerf. Played over a thousand games in it. sold it when RU came out because the crew are great(5 perks) which is probably what made it work for me.

While it is a pretty unwieldy scout (some lights of other nations were spared the scout MM so it wouldn't have been too hard to exempt the AFKPanther from gameplay scouting as well) I guess i will miss it.

I only enjoyed it because it was a challenge. I`m about to finish the grind.

Next tank to try is the churchil gun carrier, for similar reasons.

Devs said they're considering a small buff to the CGC, so let's wait and see.

You were right and I have since changed my mind and decided it would just be daft. I enjoyed the challenge of the awfulpanther because it was crazy fun to ram into things....but the churchil GC would just be frustrating.

Sometimes grinding does funny things to me and posting in this topic prevented me from making a horrible, horrible mistake.

I may wait till I unlock the 32lbr on the at line before giving it a blast. had a awesomepanther type of day yesterday, had a elc driver ask what it was like, said it kind of sucks at being a scout but not bad as a medium, I think the Ol girl sat up and said right bollacks to you I show you sonny! 3rd on exp circle danced a t32 to death with 1200 damage and 200 assisted with a initial tracking shot, spotted 5 others and got another 1000 assisted damage and was only shot once. Missed out on a ram kill on a m12. Not one of my best games but it was a above average and more fun, recently she has been on a run of terrible MM seeing teir 9/10, saying that my wz-131 has also had that and my win rate plummeted from 52% to 48%

My opinion is your missing out, it's not OP like the bulldogs that are ramping the servers at the mo but it's more of satisfied a feeling from getting a massive game with a top gun and top exp with out going easy mode

I know it wasn't the best Tier VII Scout but I loved mine.  It was a unique tank (seems like most of the German scouts are) and was quite capable if you played it as a hybrid instead of a pure scout.

Oldschool scouts know to appreciate variety in light tanks more than on-par performance for individual vehicles. With these terms Aufkl. Panther surely acts out as something different. Challenging to master, but different.

Personally i'd rather not see my Aufkl. to be changed to yet another small-frame 60 km/h 23 ton needler. Specially when my contribution for the team with this tank is at least on level compared to other scouts in garage.
