For newcomers to the game, here are some words/phrases you may hear ingame by other players and of course here is their meaning:

"Cap" -> Means go ahead and start capturing the enemy base immediately
"Def" -> Means that the whole team will stay and defend base, instead of rushing ahead
"GL & HF" -> Good luck and have fun
"GJ" -> Good job
"GG" -> Good game
"Camper" -> A player who spends all the game hiding inside a bush near the friendly base
"Rush" -> Some tank destroyers will stay in the base, all other tanks will immediately attack the enemy base
"Lemming train" -> A large group of tanks that commits suicide by rushing the enemy too early in the game in a highly disorganized manner

Feel free to add any others you have seen, which are not self explanatory:)

Shorts used for tanks:

KT: King Tiger (or Tiger II or Tiger Royal), a Tier 8 German heavy tank
VK45, Ausf. B, VK (if is the only VK series on the map): VK4502(P) Ausf.B, a Tier 9 German heavy tank.
Leo: VK1602 Leopard, a Tier 4 German light tank, also scout
Ferdi: Ferdinand, a Tier 8 German tankdestroyer
ISU: ISU-152, a Tier 8 USSR tankdestroyer
DB: VK3002(DB), a Tier 7 German medium tank
Object: Object 704, a Tier 9 USSR tankdestroyer (note the other USSR arty objects are often referred as just arty).
JT: Jagdtiger, a Tier 9 German tankdestroyer
JP: Jagdpanther, a Tier 7 German tankdestroyer

Will edit more if I remember them again.

Others:

Scout: A tank that goes ahead to spot a tank for artillery or fellow teammates. Most often a suicide mission.

A program to record your video card's output. Click me!

VKH = VK3001(H)
VKP = VK3001(P)
VK36 = VK3601(H)
Trollgun = 152mm M-10 (KV-2 Howitzer)*
Loltractor = Leichttraktor
TK = Team Kill
3/4 = PzKpfw III/IV
rof = rate of fire
rpm = round per minute
dpm = damage per minute (dps = damage per second)
"Attention to A0!
Attention to B2!
Attention to C5!
Attention to A3!
Attention to D6!" (repeat at least twice) = I want to be added to your ignore list.
"Don't cap, noob!
Kill the whole team!" = I am the noob and want to risk a secure victory just to search and destroy the last enemy(s), because I still think there is a bonus for killing enemies. An I don't care that the last enemy(s) coul kill us instead.

(*Could someone add some more gun "names", please. Sometimes I'm really confused what people are talking about.)

BL-10 = boomstick of doom carried by the ISU and the Object 704
Long 105 = best gun on King Tiger
Med 105 = best gun carried on JagdPanther and middle gun for King Tiger
short 105 = HE derp gun for hetzer, panzer 4 and stug 3.
Short 88 = 88L56 carried by all german tanks in tier 6 which makes everyone rage for all it's shortcommings
Long 88 = best gun on tiger and Panther tanks and still makes everyone rage because it has no dmg, nice accuracy and penetration though.
Long 75 = 75L70 carried by the Panzer 4 and the stug3 (75L100 is only usable on the Panther 2 and its a bad idea to use it on that tank)

stubby = small 75mm derpgun on the panzer 3
zis6 = 107mm zis 6 on the KV and SU-85 in tier 5
BL9 = 122mm BL-9 on the IS-3
S70 = the 130mm S70 on the IS-4 and IS-7

128 = 128mm on the ferd/vk4502B
L61 or /61 = 128mm L61 on the Jagdtiger
ml-20 = derpgun on SU-152
203 = the 203mm on the SU-14 or S-51

derpgun = High Caliber low penetration gun thats only decent with High Explosive ammo.

unicorn = S-51 tier 6 russian arty

ufotank = T54 not Object 704

Actually the lemmings train does not refer to mass-suicide, although it usually leads to that.

What it means that 50%+ of the team begins to follow the highest tier tank in hopes to succeed and completely ignores every other flank and front.
