So me and my friend StalkersFury started to work on this little project last year. We decided to make a full conversion of Tamiya's Leopard 1 into a Leopard Prototyp A. Here is the kit we started to work on. StalkersFury did all the modelling and I only painted the model :3. He used lots of plastic cards and GW's green stuff to make all the necessary components and conversations. I painted the model by using Citadel paints. The model is not 100% accurate, but I think it's pretty darn good one : D It's a mix between WoT's model and the real life PTA.

Here is the final outcome:

And here is StalkersFury's Tiger I scale model. Here is a picture of the Tamiya's kit he used.

"World's first Leopard PTA scale mdoel"

Why am i not surprised that it was you who made this? :D

Anyway, great work, looks amazing! Still one of the best looking tanks in this game.

Do you have any photos of the building? I would like to see how it was made.

(your pics are not embedded properly i think)

And here I sit happy that I have a Tiger I with only ONE of the tracks broken.

Probably built 30+ model kits and still not good at it all.

I'm impressed. That Leopard is very well done.

Can you help me with the changes on the Tiger though?

Very sexy tank!

Does it have better gun depression than the one Wargaming made up though, that's the question? ;)

Stunning.

Now, if you were to light them against a black background, with decent close ups at unusual angles or use depth of field in the grass in your garden at some near ground angles.... We could all have some fantastic desktop backgrounds :-)

This is the sort of thing I mean

Nice work a bit off not posting this in the creative section, but I think you deserve more attention for your awsome work. :)

Cobra 6

One book that I own about the Leopard 1 keeps mentioning -9 degrees everywhere. I'm not sure where WG pulled the -6 degrees from.

Nice work.

May I suggest you to add more "rust" and "dirt" for weathering? Especially on to Tiger? You can have the best affect with pigments:

I guess, but we like to keep our models "tidy". We don't want them to look plain so we add some rust and metal just to give it the right worn out look, but still keep it clean. Thanks for the feedback though, it's all down to personal preferences in the end >_>.
