Dear Community,

since late December of 2014 I am working on a dynamic signature for WoWp and WoT that contains a handful of basic stats.
As I am pretty close to a "public launch" of the project having some testers for the more advanced "Custom Signature"
(with that you can not only use your own background image but your own text and and image of your favorite plane/tank)
is viable, so I thought I'd do a contest about it with 2500 Gold as prize for the winner!

Prize for the winner is, like mentioned above, 2500 Gold gifted via Premium Shop:

The competition will run from now on until 8:00pm CET on Friday, 13th of February 2015!

This is what you need to participate:
Create your own Custom Signature at stats-sig.eu and post it here (see Spoiler beneath for detailed instructions)!
To add some challenge to the competition, your Custom Signature must

  • contain a custom background image
  • contain the image of your favorite plane/tank
  • a funny text that either hints at your favorite plane/tank, your background image or WoWp/WoT in general

Detailed description of creating a custom signature

The Player with the best combination of overall signature composition and funny text wins!

Good luck and I'm looking Forward to your creations!

I like the style of these signatures. Good job!

I'm probably blind or something, but i can't figure out how to create a custom sig on your site.

I'd like to have a sig with my lovely VK1602 Leopard. :D

Hi John_Preston,

when you browse to https://stats-sig.eu you will see the following text:

"Hi, to use all available features, you can log in with your WargamingID:"

followed by a round Wargaming image, clicking that image will transfer you

to WG to login to your account and then it will ask you to allow to inform stats-sig.eu

about your username. After that you're logged in to stats-sig.eu and you can find

the additional "WargamingID"-menu on the left with all the items you need.

You can find further information in the "Detailed description of creating a custom signature"-Spoiler

in the first post.

Just on a side note, I've removed the requirement to have anything stats related in the created signature for this contest.

Now you can just add some funny text that hints at your background image, your fav. plane/tank or WoWp/WoT in general.

Hope that makes it more enjoyable for everyone. :P

I've added a frame without the WoT/WoWp logo and moved the text to the left for that frame, now you can basically use the whole width

of the signature for your own text.

Furthermore I've fixed the live preview, for some reason I messed that up after the last test I did yesterday evening....

You can see any changes live now, even every single letter you change in the text will be shown live in the preview image above

the text box.

There it is. vv

To be honest, i would like to be able to edit it a little bit more. Like changing text size and formatting it better(not with spacebar), adding those nice little icons you have there in the preformatted sigs, not adding flag(i don't think it's important), etc.

Hi John_Preston,

thanks for your feedback!

I'm already working on different text sizes (4 lines of text like it is now, 3, 2 and 1 real big line, maybe 5 small lines, but it's very hard to read then...).

I've already looked into formating with tabs, unfortunately I haven't found a solution yet that would not create a security risk for code injections.

Adding icons is unfortunately not possible as basically the whole signature (besides the selectable images) is a text field

that doesn't support anything else besides the pre-defined font, text size (that means even with an option for a textsize, the whole

custom text will use the same size..) and color.

What I possible though would be adding a selectable frame without the dark transparent stripe on that usually the text is,

so you can add fancy icons to your custom background image already without them being darkened behind that stripe.

Well, spacebar kinda works, so that's not an issue. On the other hand being able to change text size would help a lot. :)

Would it be possible to have different sizes for different lines(like in a html kind of way <font size="x">something</font>)?

I don't mind the dark stripe, it's nice, but i think my name is just too big and i don't really like the fact that it kinda overlaps the WoT flag.

Also if it was a little bit smaller then i could put that -not so funny- text about my Leopard being a ninja next to it. :D

I've added the ability to choose between the earlier mentioned font sizes, unfortunately it's not possible to use different sizes for the custom text,

at least I didn't find a way to change the size individually.....

largest size is actually quite impressive

To add some challenge to the competition, your Custom Signature must

  • contain a custom background image
  • contain the image of your favorite plane/tank
  • a funny text that either hints at your favorite plane/tank, your background image or WoWp/WoT in general

Does this tank/plane has to be from WoT/WoWP?

Initially made one with Maus that said "squeak squeak [edited]" but I'd have to censor it for the forums and that just doesn't look right, so I went with KV-5 ramming the life out of some poor bastard instead. :P

Oddly enough I completed HT-11 (finish battle with no damaged modules and no injured crew members) with KV-5. :P

As I failed to clearly describe the requirements, I guess any tank/plane would be fine, even Command & Conquer's Mammoth tank. ;)
