Well, clanlife > randomlife.

After a bunch of my housemates stopped playing WoT, I'm still able to run platoons pretty much all the time.

And platooning is just more fun than playing alone.

The grinding of hard tanks with at least 2 other good players on your team...

The lolz when a night of grinding has got to you and you start up platoons with ELC, TOG II or FV304...

The achieving actual teamplay in skirmishes or companies (or CW)...

Also, why administrate? Well...

The teamfeels, the part of achieving stuff, the learning process of management.

The sense of power to a certain degree. Having an influence. Being in charge.

Why would you create a clan? No idea. Setting up from scratch seems like a shitty job to me :P

I have my own clan, because I did not want to join another clan, wasting time, effort and emotions on something that will eventually get destroyed by the leadership at some point. I wanted to be the one in charge, I wanted to decide who gets in, which direction the clan takes and how we handle internal business. It was definitely worth it, in my case. My members are so carefully chosen that they all act in the clan's original spirit despite the fact I have pretty much quit all my commander business and I am merely a placeholder now. Apparently, sometimes democracies do work.

He's right, you guys should all quit your clans and join my clan.  I'll even kick out any lowbobs, rerolls, and lightpadders.  That should make space for about 90 new people.

Ill check applications on the hour.

I rejoined my clan, it's lonely in the wilderness and I missed the clan chat tab.

Because I wanted a community where I create the culture and set the rules.

However, I never imagined it would become so popular, and I hate myself for it.

I joined a clan because I wanted to experience The Dinger culture and live by WJDE's rules.

However, I didn't know it would be so popular, and as a recruiter I hate the boss for it.
