This is all true, but with 18 sec reload there isnt much time to change ammo for anticipated targets imo. So you should basically just shoot HE and always do damage.

What i do try is loading my first shell with HEAT and rush off to an ambush position at the start of the game. I can be fairly confident the first tank i run into will be a light or any other fast tank (batchat/leo), which i can usually always pen with HEAT. Then after the first shot i gtfo and switch back to HE for targets of oppurtunity.

Sometimes a penetrating HEAT shot is the difference between finishing someone off or dealing 400 damage and getting wiped out afterwards though, so it's very worth getting into the hang of using in my opinion.

And I wouldn't reload HEAT from HE (unless I anticipated a massive downtime in action, say, running to the other side of the map to get the last enemy, heh). If I'm going to switch to HEAT I'll do it just after I've fired a shot, based on the current state of the play and what I anticipate my next target to be. Sometimes it's a bad call, sometimes it saves my life or nets me an extra bit of damage.

Personally I take 6 heat rounds and 16 HE, I'm not advocating it as the primary ammo. Just saying that the tank is better with all the tools available to it. The tank is more effective if HEAT can be used when the situation warrants it. Just like British tanks and HESH.

I'm thinking that intuition may be an attractive loader skill on T49? After camo and BIA ofc.

IS m41 better than t37 for missions? IT seems like just a larger t37 to me with autoloader. Is the camo better or worse? I aced t37 so was thinking of whether its worth moving up a tier or not.

Pound for pound the Bulldog is probably the best scout In the game at this moment in time it has every thing you need as a scout driver.

If you set it up with the right crew skills and equipment its an absolute monster you should not fear any other light tank with the bulldog if you play

it right.

Guns I have used both I prefer the Auto loader just because of its burst damage and the fact a lot of players cant keep count of how meany shots you fired

and get surprised when you still have a few rounds left to finish them with.

Having said that I don't use gold ammo with the auto loader as its just so damn expensive to use 5.6k per shot so you fire a whole clip and you just spent 56k on ammo alone.

About to unlock the T49 3.4 k left to grind on the bulldog am I going to keep it you bet I am.

What sort of set up do you have for bulldog when your not trying for max spotting dmg? optics vertic stab and camo net? Also other than camo what should be my 2nd skill BIA? I just got it and oh god its so much faster than t37 its insane.

Equipment Vents stab and optics

Skills Sixth sense for commander and camo for rest the 2nd skill camo for commander then snap shot off road driving and repairs for the rest will swap these out for camo and BIA when 2nd skill set get to 100%

I'm just starting the T37 grind from stock, having enjoyed the M24 Chaffee immensely I decided to get the T37 shortly after unlocking it.  So far I've played two games in it, both wins (100% win rate, yay me, not...)

How do the T37, M41 and T49 compare to the current (9.6) M24 Chaffee on a tier to tier basis?  I'm doing OK in the Chaffee ~ 60% win rate over 140+ games, ground out both the T37 and the M41 Arty, got my crew to 95% on their first skill (Commander 6th sense, everyone else on camo) and have finally 'clicked' to the joy of a light tank, well, this light tank.

So, does it get better as they go up the tiers, or will it end up like the other tanks I run? once I get to tier 8 things get very serious, very fast, and the T37 is going to see me in T9 battles more  often than not, with folk who have certain expectations of their team mates...

T37 and M41WB are both very competent tanks, probably moreso than M24 tier by tier because Chaffee's gun is kinda crap. It's barely better than the M3 Lee gun, but Lee is a tier 4 medium. T37 and M41WB both have excellent guns with good penetration, plus the option to mount autoloaders.

T49 is just a troll tank that you should play for fun, because derping a tier 10 tank in the face for 300 damage is just hilarious. Or 900 damage if the tank is French :justwait:

T37 is by far the best out of those 3, simply because it shoots on the move so well. bulldog can't hit crap while moving, and T49 can't hit anything at all...

My Bulldog can hit things on the move pretty well, but I do use a vert-stab.

Had the T37 for a long time, then i sold it when i bought the T49 and i`v had the bulldog for a long time but i sold it to be able to bye the germans light tanks, the T49 is a keeper to me, it`s beast, yes i can drive u crazy, but when it penetrates it makes up for everything! My T49 crew is at 97& on third skill :-P

Bulldog and T49 are keepers. As for aiming with T49, try shooting the ground under the tank, often you will miss or shoot clean under it, but most tanks have really soft belies (like 20-40mm of armor) and you can easily do 300+ damage if the shell explodes right under him, often taking off both tracks as well. I once aimed under an IS8 and he backed off a dune in Sand river and i actually penned his belly, he burned nicely  I do have more than 2,6k battles on this thing though so it's quite rare such a thing can happen. But do try it for yourself and see if it's worth it.

T49 is both great fun and rage inducing.. I finally decided to sell it just to keep both my sanity and keyboard in one piece..

T37 is only good for sh, no point in playing it in random really.

Bulldog is so much fun, kinda op, and good for quite a few missions so defenetly a keeper.

T49 is so rng based, you can't win games with him and it's not my kind of fun so also not a keeper for me.

Chaffee and M41. The 41 has a great gun but is bigger but in the end both fun to play. The T37 is a good mix of both. If you can keep the Chaffee and T37 and get the M41. I haven't tried the T49 yet as there are too many mixed reviews.
