Hello all,

Dont know about you, but i got my desktop swirling with tank wallpapers now. I just like the big hulking machine with guns sticking out put into a nice dramatic scene, wether they be real tanks, fantasy tanks, or something tankish like an SPG or one of those cool tracked german bikes.
(Officially designated as tractor, but who cares) :)

Thats not enough! I'm always on the lookout for some more awesome tank(ish) wallpapers. Maybe if i'd shared some that I found with you, maybe you would share some with me aswell? Lets see what we can do to make a thread filled with the coolest tank pics.

Are you with me? Then lets GO!

Here's a bunch of mine from mine, taken from my favorites list. Im going to use URL tags, as this forum is not walsy in the mood to show pics that have been posted with IMG tags. I advice you do the same ;)

Starting off,

Not sure, but looks like a WW1 mark 4 tank:

Looks like a Wolverine:

Modern MBT:

Cool pic of a Lee tank, looks like somebody took its gun tho! :P

Hi-rez Hetzer pic. Ready to HETZ! (Notice the periscope!):

Looks like Merkava's in the field:

Jagdpanther that needs a new coat of paint.. volunteers? :P

I got noting but respect for the KV tank and its crews. Here's a pic that shows why:

French Char B1 tank. B stands for Badass. :)

Churchill tanks along a road. You know, I like this tank alot better with the exposed tracks. (Notice the captured panther at the back):

Nice drawing of a panzer II:

Leo I tanks in the snow:

Leo II with some new kind of armour. I would call it "KITT" and put a red light at the front:

Sherman at a memorial site:

Actual photo of an abandoned Jagdtiger in Neustadt. Turns out this Jagdtiger was part of a group that had been stopping US attacks in serveral towns already before retreating to the next town for a new ambush. When backing up into the garden shown on the pic the tank broke down and had to be abandoned as it was facing sideways for the next US attack. The jagdtiger was taken to the US for testing.

Skillful drawing of a Tiger tank. Very nicely done:

And then some fantasy tanks:

Looks like Warhammer, although im not sure what tank it is:

Arty being OP:

Warhammer Leman Russ tank:

Allright, think I'll stop for now. I hope you guys have some cool pics aswell! :)

The fantasy tank from the first link is a super heavy Macharius Tank from Warhammer 40k.
