If you don`t know - Clarkson was suspended.

If you like Top Gear and if you think that without Jeremy it will not be the same, here is petition:

I don't watch a lot of TV To be honest, but it would be a shame for him to just be thrown off entirely. He is certainly entertaining. :honoring:

If they get rid of him then top gear is gone in my mind as he is top gear.

Yeah.. He will find a job in TV, I have no doubt, and not even despite him offending everyone around but because of that - we all know how TV industry works.

But I like Top Gear.

"Inside Clarksons hatch" - which is faster, ISU152 or IS3, it is time to give tanks to our tame racing driver Stig. :teethhappy:

Who wouldn`t want to see Clarkson testing Pz1C or Stig driving Batchat on Top Gear racing track?

BBC drop him? Sky will snap him and May and Hammond, then Top Gears, on Sky will start. Beeb's loss.

This happens every 2-3 seasons. It hasnt been this serious yet, but still i think there is no way they fire him. Top Gear is too important for BBC, and there is no Top Gear without Clarkson...

Top gear will be a better show if Clarkson is replaced by an PC eco-warrior feminist.

Assuming that he did as alleged, if I punched my boss, I don't think my job would be very secure. Why should Clarkson be treated any differently.

They had a pic of that producer in the paper and tbh, I'd punch him as well the smarmy looking git. Producers are ten a penny. Clarksons are not.

So make just exceptions for the cool guys and let them do whatever they please and still keep their job and walk away from any misdeed without any kind of punishment?

If Mr. C would have driven over a kid, I wouldn't be surprised if a similar campaign to save him for punishment would pop up pretty soon.

imagine a scenario where he *wouldn't* be brought back

I'd feel really sorry for whatever poor sod had to fill his shoes by taking his place in the show, cos no matter how good/funny/talented, people would propably throw rocks at him in a matter of seconds.

Like other people said, Clarkson IS top gear

Probably true, but that does not excuse what Clarkson did (if he did it of course) and I would personally have a much lower opinion of the BBC if they kept him on despite that.

Thats a valid point, if he swung at him wanting to remove his head, he should suffer. My problem is, did he? Or as May said, it was more handbags at dawn. Also how do these 'stories' keep hitting the headlines? The 'eenie meenie' story was a bit of film that was edited. Yet somehow made it to youtube. Sounds a bit underhanded. Not much of a bobmshell, but there you go....;)

We are not really in a position to know. I hope whatever the result, it is based on what he did (or did not) do and not on the fact that he's Clarkson one way or the other.

No. Clarkson and the others are 99% of the show. That guy makes up about 0.1% of the show. Without people like Clarkson, shows like that wouldn't exist for 10 a penny idiots like him to produce. When he's the big star he can call the shots but he's not and if the man wanted a steak after a cold day on the moors, give him a steak and not what some jumped little sh1t of a producer wants him to have. I've worked in film and TV and believe me there are a lot of people behind the scenes who think they're special when they can be replaced by someone from the unemployment queue.
