Check out the newest edition of this special! This time, it’s the sturdy German heavy tanks.

Vertical stabilizer on Maus? It does not need a stabilizer. Wait a minute. If you're going to mount a stabilizer, you may as well mount a camo net.

The 12.8cm gun mounted on the vehicle may not be the best in this tier. In fact, it is a rather mediocre in comparison to guns of other Tier X heavies.

Yeah.

Time to dust of the trusty VK4502A and play it some more. Nearly have the VK4502B unlocked.

I would buy something else for a Tier 7 keeper, but then again you have over four times my battles so you know what you're doing. :)

Still, I'm glad they're paying attention to the unpopular lines as well, this and the upcoming penetration nerfs finally convinced me to rebuy the VK 45 Ausf A and finish the grind.

Even more incentive to play VK4502B... I love that thing... One of the few tanks that actually still have any meaningful armor.

Yes, Maus can make good use of the stabiliser.

In order to maximise it's armour Maus needs to keep it's turret at an angle to the enemy, turning it frontally only when it aims and fires, then turning it away right after that. Vertical stabiliser greatly helps to reduce aiming time or make snapshots more likely to hit the target. This in turn lets Maus to save it's much needed hitpoint as well as engage the enemy more effectively.

Now, please come back to commenting on equipment when you actually have any idea whatsoever what you're talking about. Thank you.

pro tip:

want to set a Maus on fire from the front when he is facing you?

Just put a derp HE shell in front of the lower turret, the splash reaches through the deck, damaging the engine (and starts the dice-roll for the fire)

Maus    can be easily defeated by 13 90 , previously let topic that is not normal ,but no one cares about this tank is the heaviest and most -armored and you did a laughingstock correct the error and return to the greatness of the German heavy tanks. Thanks

Very nice. It looks like the Maus is in for a treat: Top of the three; Accuracy Nerf; Planned XP for DMG blocked by armor in 9.8; Tier 10 penetration nerfs and more

As for equipment, I would go Spall Liner/Rammer/Toolbox.  Vert. Stab. is really not a priority. Also, for skills I always like to pick the ramming one.

With this discount I can now re-buy the Tier 9 VK which is amazing and is going to get replaced with another Maus Prot. and the Tiger P which I haven't played in more than a year but enjoyed it a lot back in the day.
