What a beautiful tank. I wish there would have been enough time to visit armour museum when I was in Australia... :(

Actually, I pretty much like this one, it's either that he likes this tank or I dunno, but finally it didn't feel like he was just reading the whole thing and standing next to the tank hoping to point the right way. I hope Inside the Tanks will be made like this episode from now on , if so ,I'll be watching :)

I wanted to hear something about this triangle plate on frontal armor, I wanted to see more of inside tank, or something about engine, but he was too busy talking about storage compartments... Wtf. :amazed:

The triangle is a splash guard for the driver when the tank crosses shallow bodies of water. As for the storage compartment thing... my guess is that Cutland had the following thought: "People think I'm boring compared to the Chieftain. How can I up my game? Hm, he talks a lot about stuff on the sides of tanks, that must be his secret!"

+1

Chieftain also please, interesting videos and a good and funny presenter.

That being said, Challenger's presentation skills are definitely improving each video:great: Also, longer videos are definitely better where you go more into detail like this one!

Ps: That is one fancy retro fan the gunner has :teethhappy:

I dont know what is the problem here. I liked all of these videos so far with both chieftain and challenger. The only thing I would recommend, is that you increase the lenght so that you can talk about everything in more detail, for example the design, the history, the protection, the gun characteristics and usage od those vehicles. But I understand that that might not be for the moderator to decide :) or am I wrong?

So when is the T-72 going to be in game? Otherwise why the video? All I can say is FV4202... Those that know, know what I mean...

I liked the vid in general. Tbh I usually bypass these kind of articles, Chieftain or Challenger involved...

I agree it needed a few more minutes but it wasn't bad.

Thank you for your suggestion :) This isn't something moderator decides about, however I am sure either The_Challenger or Hunter1911 will pop into this topic and check all the feedback which was given by everyone in this thread.

Nice video, The Challenger looks a lot more natural in this video than his previous ones. I do feel that at some moments he spoke somewhat fast. I agree with GrandelSvK that you should increase the length of the videos to cover more detail.

Greeting all,

For a few years now we have been producing these videos and constantly listen to feedback not only from the forum of course but also SM and YouTube where we get the vast majority of comments, plus of course we monitor analytics.

Now personally I see no problem with who watches what, watch Chieftains watch mine, watch both, its all content. Now of course I do not get total say in every aspect. Sometimes I am specifically asked to do a particular vehicle, sometimes the team wish to concentrate more on the history than the "specifics". Sometimes we are incredibly pushed for time in a location and encounter problems, (like there is no interior to speak about !!-Happened once).

Localization on the EU forum is also a major consideration, as you are aware everything (EU portal)  has to be translated in seven languages, fine if its straightforward, not so easy when trying to find a direct translation for tank components. As you may recall a couple of years ago I did a four parter on Tiger 1, very specific and very detailed, a nightmare for translation and this took forever to get right. Time of course means money and there are moments when things are rather rushed and not entirely as I would like.

I would love to do longer videos of course but again this eats budget and as proven You Tube viewers do not watch long vids, this however is something we must discuss as it of course gives the opportunity to go into greater depth.

As you know my background is the Tank Regiment, 30 years of serving on Tanks in peaceful and not so peaceful times. I was a tank solider for the majority of my adult life and have witnessed the best and worst that these beasts have to offer. I have witnessed the joy and tears tanks bring on and off the battlefield, I have served alongside comrades that have lived, breathed and for some laid down there lives in these machines. What am I trying to say by this statement is that although I will forever have a respect for Tanks I will always be aware that the design and purpose was intended for one thing and one thing alone.

I liked it but I think someone needs to take the sound engineer to one side and explain that background 'music' shouldn't have it's volume set to eleven.

Maybe I'm getting old and deaf but I found some parts of the commentary very diffficult to make out.
