Here's my entry. I made it with a little "alternate history" flavour. And with ink. And with four types of graphite. And with a little retouching with Photoshop, since my scanner isn't exatly top-notch.
This monument was erected in 1955 to commemorate the Battle of Borispol in 1947; the largest and last great tank battle of WW2. The base is made of granite; the tank statue (twice the scale of an original Löwe) and the lion are cast from the wreckages that were lying around west of Kiev after the battle.
The monument is rather simple and it's simplicity speaks louder than any epitaphs would. It stands alone in the barren steppes, a grim tombstone of the thousands of German, Soviet, Hungarian, Romanian and Ukrainian troops that fell there.

I can’t draw at all, my graphic skills are desperate, but I tried my best. This picture took about 6 hours (yeah, quite a lot for such a result), but it’s still better to do something than do nothing. Too bad my low-end scanner don’t share same idea with me, because all shading efforts were quite useless - it didn’t scanned it properly.
Materials used - The whole monument is traditional as are the materials: Tank is SU-100 with flag of Czech Republic, pedestal and stairs from granite, board from bronze or similar metal. Two smaller memorials next to the tank are from stone (their columns), desk is from metal with carved-in names of czechoslovak soldiers fallen during WW2. Text is quotation of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, first president of Czechoslovakia, one of the most important people of our history (Thanks to him and few others we became independent country after nearly 400 years of domination of austrian Habsburks). Despite our army was forced to capitulate before real war started, many soldiers from Czechoslovakia fought in war (notable battles - Tobruk, Dunkirk, Eastern front, Battle of Britain, of Dukla pass and so on). Many of them were persecuted (killed, jailed, tortured) by communists after their return to home. So this is memorial for them, can be placed nearly everywhere because it’s traditional look, but it could be really nice to locate it in some park or place where are trees, bushes and nature in general, it would compensate it’s "industrial" look.
Sorry for this small trip to history (but who could be really offended here, hehe), just only wanted to say my reasons why I drew this memorial.
Small or symbolic price for our efforts would be nice, something like functional T-34 as a gift in RL. :-).
