Taiwan is a part of China, just a different government and now the brothers are back to peace :D

The real reason Mao didn't take the island in the end is that Korean War started so China shifted focus on defeating the Americans (or UN troops). And after the island was only bombarded and had loudspeaker of propaganda. Funnily, the relatives of those Nationalist soldiers had their parents and wives on the mainland still, crying to ask those soldiers to return.

I enjoyed this too, very good stuff. Shame it didn't show anything about the Type 64, I'm not sure if it was even involved in this particular conflict but it is certainly part of the history around the Republic of China (not to be confused with the Peoples Republic of China).

Interesting info on a bit of history that's probably not that well known in Europe!

There are natives to Taiwan that are not part of the Nationalist nor Communist China.

Nationalists only fled to Taiwan and claim the island as their own, just as the Japanese did during WWII.

Well not everyone knows what that tiny island is famous for. As for the Challenger - his traveling which are always packed with research (before the trip and on the spot), running around with the video crew which hardly and so much more is hardly considered as a vacation.;) In this case, goal of the project was to launch the "Inside the tanks" series in Asia where the content of the video is also suitable for their player base. It was only logical that this video is also shared in the EU.
