I keep seeing the word ''kappa'' applied at the end of sentences.. the meaning appears to be arbitrary in its application and offers nothing meaningfull.

I understand kappa as being the 10th letter of the Geek alphabet and also something to do with antibodies if i recall my immune system lessons. Beyond that I have no idea wtf it means.

So can someone enlighten me please. Am I missing something obvious? is it  a new abbreviation for something>? or is it simply mind vomit?

Sometimes a term that is commonly used within certain communities (in this case Twitch) finds itself in increasingly common usage outside the community in which it originated. Nothing unusual about that.

thats nice but it still does not explain its meaning.

luckily for me my google is stronger

"Kappa," a face of a former Justin.tv employee;

anyhow im lost as to why that should be applied at the end of a sentence.

When you write word Kappa in twtich chat it shows picture that looks like my avatar (without hat). It represents sarcasm - for example: 'Smeeeeg_Heeeeed and Pansenmann are good at trolling Kappa' actually means 'Smeeeeg_Heeeeed and Pansenmann are not good at trolling'.

Sorry for using you guys as example Keepo.

If you can show me how to use the twitch.tv website without installing adobe flash malware bloatware

and still be able to watch the streams, I will gladly spam you with upvotes for the next week!

PS: the first was for free ;)
