Hi all! i'm studying mechanical engineering in italy. I play world of tanks a lot and i like the game so much that for my vibration exam i've choosen to do a project about tank suspensions. The purpose of the project is to make a schematic model with Lagrange equations (with schematic springs and dampers): in particular to see how the hull of the tank moves in response of the cannon fire. I've seen a lot of suspension configurations and it seems to me that torsion bar suspension are the easier to analize in terms of cinematic relations of movement. The only things that i don't have are the dimensions of suspensions like the lenght of torsion bars and arms, the material ecc.

My favourite tank for this project would be the t-54 but any tank is suitable for this. Do anyone have any data of this type? it would be really appreciated!
