Please only allow attack and defense time between say (initial starting time) 18:00 and 23:00 (final starting time)

 

Right now everybody sets it around 04:00 AM so they don't get attacked. This also means that they effectively farm the weaker clans who do still have a decent attack time set without fear for repercussions. 

 

If I have to set an alarm-clock for a game something is wrong.

more clans may start playing again from patch 9.8 with tier 7 and below defended with 10 tier 8 tanks

Whole attack/defend stronghold mechanic is flawed and should be removed. Stronghold mode was supposed to be mode for clans that have no time for active play in clan wars, meanwhile its basically the same.

I dont mind being attacked - but everybody should be forced to have defense in a proper timezone so other clans would have 10 times more targets and it wouldn't feel like getting punished for playing the game as possible intended... The 90% of all clans "defending" in the middle of the night however is a signal about the game mode being fucked up and having to be adjusted heavily.

In my opinion Clans should not be able to attack anyone below their own Stronghold level and clans should be allowed more than 1 day pr week without attacks. 2-3 days pr week minimum would be good.

At the same time I believe. Other options are implementing new features like a clan buying out of an attack they do not want to defend against. Like up until 24 hours before the match being able to pay 33-50% of the potentially lost ressources to the attacker and having the battle canceled (almost like being ransomed)

 

So many possibilities - but WG shold focus on fixing teh core mechanics first. Proper defensetimes, more offdays and no sealclubbing...

You can hardly call it sealclubbing at tier 8 or 10

Well people just dont want to get raped by top clans that's all, maybe add a rating to Strongholds  and only people with a similar rating can attach eachother that would kinda do it i guess ?

I think it's more that the top clans have the stupid defends times, so other top clans can't attack them for a closer and more fun fight, instead they are reduced to having to attack yellow and green clans. SH has turned into the influence supply for CW, which is the ultimate goal of the clan system

Thing is: high-tier SHs offer significant advantages for the whole clan which should IMO come at the price of having to fight for them

 

And no, brainlessly farming tier 6 skirmishes is not fighting for them.

Can't even find more than 2 enemies to attack that are at a decent hour of defence time.
