T49 RNG

Whats up with the RNG on the T49? seriously, its getting on my nerves. Keep seeing T49 random tomatoes on both teams fire their guns on the move on long range fights and still hit targets thats more or less are impossible to hit even with sniping on a leo.

 

Is this tank just made of pure luck or is it amped with RNG? I mean .60 dispersion is sick bad accuracy, but STILL it hits almost every shot.

I would agree with you if I hadn't just missed an E-100 at 20m while standing still.

i hit a batchat on the move with autoaim once

happens sometimes

more often u miss standing and full aimed from point blank range and everything beyond

 

and dont think u do 910 damage because the stats say it does 910 damage 

usualy its less then 400 and that all 20 sec

yes i use rammer vent and optics because i usualy only sniper full aimed in a save spot while the rest are unaimed shots from point blank range with autoaim

 

i love my kv2 with the 152 but this gun is far worse than that gun in everything

the worst thing on this gun is it miss shots from less then 30 m very very much

and i dont have to mention u normaly only have one change to survive and that is a hit that track the enemy or kill it

Waffle E-100 550 meters away - two penetrating shots in a row.

Waffle 50 meters away 700 HP, shot aimed at his turret hits the tracks, does 300 damage and he clips me.

 

I love my T49...

gun is pure lotto. if it wasnt, noobs would get owned too hard and tears would cause corrosion in their tanks.

Ive done joke blind snapshots scoring a kill over 500m, and i also missed a tank @5m. I can onseshot RU or hit a lorraine for 0dmg on his side.

whatever ur up  to, plan it wont work.

because RNG isn't random at all, it's bugged. tomatoes don't need to aim their shots and it's obvious. the more you aim, the less chance you have to hit anything.

The 152 caliber is made to hit when u don`t think it are going to hit. And the times u are 100% sure u are going to hit u miss, the nature of the T49, get used to it(at least it can feel so) (i love my T49, it`s BEAST)

Well, the thing with accuracy in wot is, all tanks shoot the same within the aiming circle, it's just a matter of how big the aiming circle is. This is the current spread within the circle (3000 shots fired) http://worldoftanks.com/dcont/fb/image/96accuracy_bef.jpg . You can abuse this quite well with T49, even fully UNaimed most shots will still fly towards the middle, but any slight deviation from the center will be greatly magnified by the giant aiming circle at longer distances. 

 

As for stupid snap-shot bragging, check Jingles' video Why you heff to be mad 12 at 6:43 mark, i hit an 13 90 running full speed from the E1 bush at Prokhorovka from ~500m, i stopped only to put a bit of lead and... well just check it :teethhappy:

My first shot with T49 did 900 dmg on a bulldog (200m away). It was love at the first derp.

 

But seriously, this gun is something else. What's up with fully aimed shots vanishing in thin air? I'm talking about cases where the reticle is smaller than the tank, yet the shell doesn't connect. I can deal with ordinary misses but those drive me crazy. Especially since they tend to always happen when I am carefully aiming at the target...

Fully aimed shot form 39 meters. The bullet managed to find tiny gap under the turret.

152mm gun is extremely unreliable.I would rather play 90mm if it only had normal AP rounds.

It's the same for most vehicles, though the slow reload makes it stand out a bit more/makes it worse for the T49

RNG = RNG   (and totally broken)

That awkward moment when 2 1-shot T49s has to brawl and there's no escape. I will not fault you for thinking "if I hit it...", do consider hitting a 830 HP target can still leave it at 10 HP with no module damage taken after your enemy missed the first shell.

I had (basically) the same thing happen to me yesterday, only vs the WT PzIV.

 

3 times in a row :'(

Today I only played t49 and vk2801h matches. Guess what? I had many, many ghost shells (15% more or less); shots that are fully aimed at a stopped enemy; that goes straight to the center of the tank and then... blufff... vanish in the air. And no, it is not lag, because I play pz4h derp and m4a3e8 derp... and no shot dissapeared ever. 

 

May be is some kind of bug... strange that kv2 megaderp is so accurate...

 

And then it is the issue when you damage an enemy tank for 1K dmg (today I did that to an e100), but the game decided that you only did 270 dmg. This issue is common to every derp gun shooting he. And it is a bug that is at least 3 years old.

In 2 years of playing, I've not seen that one, if game says you did 270, you did 270.

Idk how you can pen an E-100 with HE anyway.

Guess someone else hot him at the same time.

Are you certain you didn't hit the E-100 at the same time he took damage from another tank? The game will 'add up' the numbers for display. As Baldrickk said, pretty sure you can't pen E-100 with HE.
