Hello guys,

 

We'd like to share some info with Clan Wars players following a small update yesterday. 

 

First of all,  there is a bug that affects chips and may result for example in a technical loss instead of a technical win against the NPC. We're investigating reports of this issue, if you're affected please send a ticket to support to review the case.

 

Secondly, we have introduced a new system for multiple attacks on a province (Challengers battles):

 

  • Clans attacking must have a minimum of 13 chips. Having fewer than that will result in a loss and remove the Clan from further combat.
  • Clans that are drawing are also removed from further combat.
  • Starting Base is assigned randomly.

 

Please note that this is for challenging battles and doesn't apply for the owner of the province.

They don't want technicals and clans to be placing delay chips, I guess.

that is the result..i want to know why they done that ?...they didn't create any Alliance System and this was pretty much what we had..the 1 delay chip.So i want to know why they ripped that from us.

Could you give us a clue about how many players need to be in a battle to give technical victories, seeing as clans can tell before the battle if more chips are needed but not how many players.

 

It would be fantastic if WG gave us information about updates BEFORE they were implemented and not after.

Finally some info on this weird bug!

BAD-1 had entered 2 different landings one in el halluf and the other airfield (12th May) both matches we were awarded with Technical Defeats even though we had an almost full team which we were all ready-ed up. Be good to get this fixed ASAP please

Why did you bother making 13 chips the minimum? Delay chips weren't an abuse of the system / mechanics... They were actually NEEDED. Now you stripped us from delay chips, every clan will find it a lot tougher.

OK, so now you say it takes 13 chips minimum and on NA server they say it takes 8 chips. I wonder if braindead monkey would work this out any worse.

WG you really like to [edited]stuff up. Change it back to the old way & keep it that way!!!! Not a single clan is happy with these stupid rules.

And this is proved wrong. 8 chips with 8 players were enough to bring Technical victory just like they said on NA server. Please try to get you sh*t together and hire some professionals to make the work.

I can't see how it will help random clans to get on map.

WG: "Bugs, there are no bugs in our products."

Clans: "There are."

WG: "Oh... Hey guys, we changed the CW-System yesterday."

Clans: "So there were no bugs. Wargaming calls it <feature>"

WG: "Yep, correct. And If we change something in future please let us know. Otherwise we would not able to notice it. But we are very interested in this game called... ahhh... something with world... and tanks, tanks all around... Oh watch this: This cat at YouTube is soooo funny!"

Could you please give more explanations. You are saying "13 chips" - is this minimum number for placed chips only? When the battle starts and there are 15 chips, but only 10 players in battle - is this OK or it will be technical?

Really stronk,

 

So since you are busy with Clan Wars changes, wouldn't it be a good idea to assign one of your colleagues specifically to work on announcements about CWs?

Making an announcement on the website and launcher.

And ofcourse doing this before it actually goes live.

No that would be too much to expect from WG EU staff.

 

Wrong info about important thing as an official announcement just meets the expectations.

This situation is known to our developers and they are trying to resolve this issue as soon as possible. So, it's not an official update on EU server but it's an official enough to inform the players on NA server regarding to this: http://worldoftanks....-changes-52015/

Also it's not yet fixed but I should no more experience the issue. In other words you have done nothing yet (except investigating) but the issue is fixed for somehow and won't occur anymore. Sounds logical. I hope you guys keep us players updated from the case in future also.
