Woo, actual in-game feedback! That's always welcome, especially the spotted badge - I won't have any doubts that it's me who's getting mad points for spotting

so basically we'll end up with half a dozen of these each battle, and they'll be meaningless for the majority of players...

They were really annoying on the testserver..

I can see that (younger) players like such features, I don't like them though, they are, imho, disturbing and have no value in the battle, so I hope there will be a possibility to turn them off.

Uhhhh no.

Some of them do have uses, like the spotting one or the assisted damage.

Hell even the crit damage one helps.....

As long as they put the option to disable them in the menu I don't see anything wrong with this. Neat little extra, if you are trying to closely track a mission objective.

Yes, there is a way to turn them off in Settings. But you can only turn them On or Off completely. Would be better, if there was a possibility to turn off only that annoying sound.

As far as I know, they won't be added to your statistics, so the only real use for them is to be informative during the battle. This is also what I like most about them, since they will tell me if I'm the one spotting a target and also if I destroy a module of an enemy tank (some old-timers will remember the critical hit "bell" from the early days of WoT and I liked that feature). So yeah, information is good and if people don't like it, they can just gitt out disable it.

I'd say the exact opposite.

Since i don't consider myself one of the better players despite my rating i am still better than 88% of all players. Iirc it was around 76ish % a few weeks ago so the playerbase is getting worse. And these badges that are meaningless to those who are "better" might be meaningful to those at the bottom. I mean why shouldn't you be proud bouncing a shot from a Chaffee on your Tiger II?? That's a damage blocked badge. Now all we need is a "Relocated" badge for those who actually found the W key and managed to move their tank out of their base...totally totally totally worth pure gold i say. Tbh i'd rather have HD models and better server performance instead...

As this is being tested at the moment we can't yet confirm that the option for turning these off will be there, but please know that we are looking into this. More info will be included with the final patch notes.:)

Surprising there's no badge for setting someone on fire, that's what comes into my mind first.

Hang on. This means that I will know if it is me spotting the targets then? So, I won't have to wait in a bush, [edited] myself, hoping that E-100 doesn't spot me only to find out that someone else was doing the spotting so I was wasting my time?

WG, if you implement this, I will forgive all your sins. ALL OF THEM!

Would be nice to have only one that would tell me if I AM doing spotting damage. Badges for damaging the enemy are quite silly and annoying.

there is those little diamond shaped ones for fires, ammo racks etc (can't remember what they're called) you see them on the left in your post battle results...

I love that ... I love medals, awards, badges ... anything like that ..

It was in my mind to open a thread with proposals to the game producers to add more battle awards (with no XP). My thought was to name them "Certificates".

A couple of them are already included in the "badges", some others are:

First Blood - For the player who causes the first hit with damage (of all kinds) in the battle (maybe one per team).

Last Blood - For the player of the wining team who kills the last enemy.

Road Runner - For the player who runs the longest distance during the battle (maybe one per team).

Invisible - For the player(s) who will stay undetected during the battle.

Double Victory - For all the players of the winning team if they manage to capture the enemy base when at the same time they kill the last enemy.

Speedy Weasel - For the player who will avoid/dodges the most of the enemy shells (maybe one per team).

PS: I like to see them at the stats/awards

By the look of the link, you get told when you spot someone (who cares), and when you are getting assistance damage on someone. I don't give a damn about the others.

Dis' sum good stuff!

Kinda like Battlefield series... which means I like them.

It's always a bit heartwarming to receive "some kind of a reward" for your actions. Even if it's just a simple small badge.

Though on the test server they were a bit too big. Make them a bit smaller (therefore not so distracting) and it's gonna be an effin' addition to the game! :great:
