So, you enter the game with your 3k+ wn8 and a red or orange player dynamically adds you because you have it enabled. Just wonder what you guys would do? Accept or reject? I mean, it would make their day :D

I'd reject it unless it's someone i already know. A good player in a respected clan will only have it enabled to toon up with players of equal skill level i believe.

It's kinda spammy and I don't really care much about random pubbies, especially if their only way of communicating is by suddenly sending platoon requests instead of just asking me in decent English if I'd want to platoon

I accept, I'm already in battle so it wont change a damn thing, and if the guy does good I'll do the next one whit him and so on.

If I have the time to platoon then often I may accept. I've joined random training rooms after getting invites, I'm sure I would join platoons as well :P

Instantly disabled. I prefer playing the game solo even over playing with people I know and I won't ever play with some random xvmers.

I have it disabled as well. However today in a tier 8 game a dark purple guy teamed up with an orange guy which kinda gives me some hope in humanity. He carried, tier 8 FCM and seemed to let the orange guy, 50 100, take lots of shots and the orange guy had a good game, probably better than he would have had alone. Didn't recognise the name of the guy but he had no clan but over 30k battles.

Question is: What harm does it do to anyone? I'm far from being blue but when terribad players invite me I join them. Seen many blues and unicums do this too. Take it as a compliment is all and try to help them out. You don't have to chat, you can leave straight after the battle and you've made someone's day. Promotes good sportsmanship and good feelings all round. No need for the attitude of 'how dare they' or 'I'm too good to be associated with the likes of them' is there?

^ You talk as though there's a community and we should care about it? That community doesn't care about anything other than itself, it's just after advantage, it's not sportsmanship or genuinely being friendly so who gives a XXXX.

becasue in real life, this actually happens..sure..everyone takes advantage of someone else or something, becaue beeing fair and a good person nowdays, doesn't bring too many wins

I'm a long way from blue as well, but I only accept if the invite makes sense.

Yesterday I get a request from a guy in a Ferdi. I am in an Object 416. The map is Karelia and I am amongst the fastest tanks on both teams. So unless the guy needs a push it makes no sense to platoon with him. If things go as planned he won't be able to do anything for me....nor I for him.

A couple of battles later, I get an invite from a T-54. I am in an Object 430 II. Now that makes sense to me. Invite accepted. We did well and there actually was a hint of team play.

True, but you can ignore the invite and still have him follow you around like a puppy.......

they are already doing it..which is good when only 2-3 do it, but bad when an entire lemming train assemble leaving 2 out of 3 flanks empty

I'm not a great player stats wise (heck I'm just over 1100 wn8) but it's really helpful and use full to work with a better player and learn from them while playing. I don't spam the invite though, surely there is enough time to actually ask if anyone would like to toon then?

Yes, real life is a sh1t place a lot of the time, but it's good to start somewhere is it not? People are not born nice, they are made nice by lifes good experiences, turned cold by bad ones and toughened by lifes hard knocks, in a general sense. We're talking harmless dynamic platoons, not real life anyways. The nice thing about it all is that we can choose. Some choose not to, others don't mind it. There is no major decision making process here for me since the decision is not one that requires deep analysis of the costs or benefits. Some folk just want another outlet for their antisocial atitude, some don't want a pubby following them around, some are too good to be seen in the same toon with a red bob, and some don't care either way. I like the feature but some find it too intrusive and want their personal sense of space in the game to stay their own. So be it.

I enabled it and pretty much get strange invites which I have accepted regardless of tank, I haven't asked yet, just accepted. No problems with it so far apart from one guy who was sort of blocking and actually bounced off my turret once but didn't pen. It was a win which is a tough thing to get these days. I like the idea of it.

It would be nice if, for example you had a little text to send with your invite like invite a player and you have an invitational text like not a lot just idk Help with MT15  or something so you know what the dude wants or just yolo scout ? or something like that would make things a lot easier. Now you just join a platoon and you have the decency to say Hi in platoon chat and all you can hear is crickets:sceptic:

Got 2 invites almost straight away when I enabled it, and since then, none. Getting paranoid now
