Glad you like it :)

I've been digging around a lot on the subject of what is allowed and what is not so everything should be fine with this XVM configuration as far as I can tell.

If something does pop up, I will of course adjust the settings accordingly as I want to play by the rules.

Well, this is not a mod pack, it is just a configuration for XVM which I guess is the most popular mod for WoT. You can combine my configuration of it with the damage panel of your choice.

As long as Wargaming keeps up their excellent work with this game, I'll be playing and for as long as I'll be playing, I'll keep my XVM configuration up to date with the latest updates. :)

I'm hoping that there will be a release version of XVM for WoT 0.9.8 soon so that I can update to that. The current version has at least one bug with the new dynamic platoons.

Yes, I will continue updating it and a beta version for 9.9 is already up on Curse for download, just forgot to update this topic with the new version numbers.

An update will follow as soon as there is a release version of XVM available for 9.9.

Hey, I probably did something wrong. How do I enable the missing things from this view, e.g. spotted indicator, the wn8 indicator, and the vehicle type icon? All the other things work fine, vehicle type icons do show up in battle loading screen.
Awesome XVM config by the way.
See screenshot in spoiler.

EDIT: I figured it out. I had to delete the XVM font that came with Jimbo's config.

I actually did implement that initially but in the view that shows player names which is called medium (the view with tank names is called  medium2) the column widths are not fixed so depending on the length of the player names, the health bar ended on top of other things so I gave up on making it look decent as I personally only use the medium2 view that shows tank names.

But since you have contour icons showing the tank names, maybe you can live without a view that shows them and then you can easily alter the medium2 view to show player names instead.

What you do is open the file res_mods\configs\xvm\maniacmouse\playersPanel.xc in a text editor and on lines 230 and 233, replace {{vehicle}} with {{name}} . As the medium2 view has fixed column widths there is however a risk that long player names ends up on top of other information. If that happens, you can limit the player name length to for example 10 characters like this {{name.10s}} . If you want the clan tag as well as the player name, use {{nick}} instead of {{name}} .
