This is crap.Why the hell do i have to repair the tanks from my own money?What is the purpose of this even just to take something that is already hard to farm?No thanks i will pass

ps:it's even worst when you lose and you get -10000 credits because of repairs and ammo.Unless you are going to make it repair-free and ammo-free no one is going to play it because there's no point in doing so

ps:It's amazing how the xp you earn is useless unless you have gold to turn it into free exp.Greedy wg as usual.

Domination event is such crap...
Its already bugged...
When I respawn I have invisible tank, that doesnt move, but can shoot... wtf?

I understand that WG intentions behind this event was to make the game fun and they have laid all the rules and details out on the announcement page - does anyone happen to know if there is an award besides the medal for this event?

Petition for Domination game mode

it turns out that the Capture The flag Domination is just an event and not a full game mode like team battles and i think it would make a great replacement for team battles so have decided to see if-in I can encourage WG to do the honorable thing and introduce it as a full game mode so please sign and share on wot forums and other associated wot sites...thanks

The mod seems interesting, however there is room for improvement.

 

Pros:

+ players can enjoy tier 10 tanks they may not yet have in garage

+ map goals provides for a dynamic and aggressive game play, camping is not rewarding

+ no arty

+ respawn means people won't be afraid of dying so less camping and more shooting

 

Cons:

- less xp gain (for 15k damage I barely got 1k xp, that was split between the 2 tanks I played)

- the mod is too arcadeish, might pull off some players

 

So, in my opinion, the main problem with this mod is that there is absolutely no bonus whatsoever for playing it. Further more, the xp gain is greatly reduced, and the fact that xp is split between the tanks you play, means even less xp for crew.

 

Also why there are 2 stages if there is no reward? Beats me...

 

Sugestions:

+ increase combat xp

+ 3x crew xp (because you play 3 tanks)

+ make the tanks premiumlike, so that any crew (that shares the same class) can be moved on them with no penalty

+ make a VP contest for the 2 stages

What about repairs? At the end of the game, suppose I lose, I will need to repair and resupply 3 tier X tanks with my own money?!

Unconvinced.  I don't want to play T10 - I'm just not good enough yet.  And yet, the Event seems to have disabled all mods, including the very useful XVM.  So, even though I don't want to play, I am penalised by having reduced functionality in my regular game.  Seems a tad unfair to me.

Move your mods from 0.9.8 folder to 0.9.8.1 in res_mods. They seem to have updated the game version.

there was an update, thats why your mods are not working

 

ps. i played 2 matches.. in the first one i was completely clueless, the second was better but still.. 2 full teams basically all in one spot on the map-mines... thats what i call a proper [edited], this mode will get old fast.. from the test i thought there would be some sotf of a mechanic with say 3bases to be capped by either team and respawns.. this ctf is very strange.. hopefully the second stage will be better

I agree with most of this except maybe the x3 to crew xp. Is the mechanism that if you get say 1,000 exp from a win, each of the three crews gets 1,000? If so the x3 already exists. But should it not be x6 to make people play this mod? So that if a battle yields 1,000 exp, each of the crews gets 2,000 exp? or have I misunderstood how the exp is distributed? At the moment it looks better for my crew exp if I play each of the three regular tanks to get the daily double (I already have 50b, E5 and Obj.140 with pretty high skill crews).

 

Worst of all because these do not act like premium tanks I cannot put my regular 50b crew into the event 50b for more crew training, so all these tanks will do is produce another crew at a fairly slow rate.

 

Edit = it's even worse. First game played mainly 50b, dealt 8,400 damage in a win. Cost me 87k (spammed some gold shells), killed two enemy. Was fourth for experience in the battle. Got 789 experience. I played less than a minute in the obj140, and that trickled in a tiny bit of exp, and no time at all in the E5 and no experience on that crew at all. Cannot see any advantage to playing this mod unless (a) you do not already own these tier X tanks and want to try them, or (b) you need a new trained up crew for USA, France, or USSR. For players who need neither (a) or (b) forget it.

this is an enjoyable gamemode, but only if you can afford it. better go to normal battle where you are properly rewarded fo 7 kills and 10k dmg...

Its a very nice event. Fun, dynamic battles.

To people who complain about losing money - how? Ive been winning and losing games, never went on the minus. Shells are dirt cheap. Well, that is if you're not using brainless-shells only.

Only thing i would improve is bigger experience gain.

It would be a cool event . But most of the battles ends with -10 000 credits even if its victory so i  take the shot and i go repair because i dont want to become poor... 

+ there are many mhm new players who dont know what to do with a flag :facepalm:  they ignores the flags and all go to one side leaving flags unsafe , they captures flag and delivers it to our own point  or they just drives all battle with it around the map...

Will be any prize and the end of the stage or this is only event who maybe will be implemented in future updates as an standard mode? BTW, this is rly nice change for relaxing, although still too many players who dont understand team concept. just charging arround to make dmg, who cares for enemy flag drop zone :)
