tbh tankfest is not the time or place to question logic or WG logic

the forums are a place for that tbh

wg employees are going to be there to say thanks to all the players who attend and maybe  give out  goody bags etc  and put names to faces etc

Wasnt Cutland Banned from the Museum for being rude to them or something which is why we didnt get Chieftain on time? If he is a guest does it mean he apologised to them?

Well we're going with a pretty big team this year and will have 2 booth areas. The Tamiya Hall and our MGT-20 truck.

We went to over 40 events last year and never had any trouble. We've been to Tankfest 3 years prior and never had any trouble. I doubt we'll get any this year and I'll be happy to speak to any players about any issues in our game. 1 thing to remember however is I'm not a developer and raising voices or swearing is totally not going to get me to listen to you.

Source?  As in legit source and not anonymous random unknown person on the internet?  I really would have thought by now that people could tell the difference between fairy tales and facts.

Looking forward to going!

Do you know if the new WoT model kits will be on sale anywhere at the event?

Currently looking to get a hold of the Leopard 1 and Type 59 :great:

I was half joking but the amount of dissent because of artillery is indeed threatening to turn players into a rioting mob.

Love to go but its about 5 hours and 4 trains to get to Wool station then start looking for a taxi to get to the camp.

For none car owners esp if you live in the North its a pretty remote location to reach.

Ill make it back one day

Its well worth spending a long weekend there anyway, did that some years ago to attend a friends passing out parade.

Visited the Museum loved that there was no tank fest in those days, decided I wanted a Kettenrad tracked Motorcycle "sadly that hasnt happened yet"

Next day went to see clouds Hill TE Lawrences house which isnt far away and camped on the coast at Lulworth cove.

With no car it would be a 7 am start to get there for 1pm if im lucky with the trains so really its a 3 day trip with overnight stays so you can spend the full day at tankfest.

One day perhaps ;)

I have a 9 hour drive to get there from Scotland and that includes some wee stops.  This will be my longest drive ever but I'm used to driving to RIAT every year so its roughly just a wee bit longer. Will be leaving on Friday morning around 2.00AM stopping over at the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum then onto Stonehenge and finishing off that day with checking in at the local accommodation which is only 7 minutes away from Bovington itself.  Gonna be a blast and fingers crossed for sunshine.

:)
