Even with a titan or 980ti do you even get 30fps at that resolution with decent settings?

Well, a heavily overclocked Titan (1,1GHz) can render 8k with around ~11 fps:

It looks awesome! I will be buying a 4K TV soon and hopefully it will become practical and affordable for me to buy a 4K monitor and pc to run it at some point soon :D

I'm playing on a Titan Black 6G @ 2560x1440 and the fps jumps between 40-100. If I enable v-sync @ 60 it is steady :)

I doubt one Titan could drive 7k @60 with the level of the optimizations from WoT.

If you tune down the setting for eSport, like (Texture max, Extra effects low, terrain max, Decals max, Object lod max + draw distance max, everything else off) u get up to 24 fps in 8k. So a decently overclocked TITAN X (~1,5GHz) gets a 50-70% performance boost over a heavily oced TITAN Classic - fps in the 40s arent that unusual then - nearly playable.

On max details my TITAN Classic scores around 11-12 FPS, take 70% bonus to that and you end up with a meager ~20 fps. Ofc this is theory only, because I dont own a TITAN X.
