Please let this be a full retail release and not a F2P title. I know it's the old Gas Powered games house that is doing it, they got a decent record to speak of "I say decent since the sequels are usually a downgrade form their superb originals". As long as it's based on the 2nd game that is still superb even to this day. And not the 3th that I know Wargaming did distribute back in the day. And yeah the SP def needs to work offline to for me to be happy. As this is a typical on the move game for travel etc.

A trailer that doesn't show any gameplay footage. And... I basically have no clue what I just watched. Could be everything. I expect WoT with spaceships (and a third axis).

Master of Orion is being made by the what is the former Gas Powered Games, so what you can expect is a good solid 4x Strategy Game, based off the original, long as they don't do a sequel, or make it as rubbish as Sup Comm 2.

I wonder how they will implement over the top RNG and Artillery into a 4X game.

Great...just great. It's not that WoT has any flaws (broken artillery, broken tanks, un-optimized game engine, server issues, e.t.c) they fixed almost everything with the latest patch. Who do they kidding, they expanded with WoWP (they rushed and it turned into a turd) before fixing WoT, then kept expanding with WoWS before fixing WoT or even WoWP and now they want to expand to a complete different game genre? Who the flying f.uck is in charge of the development teams? He/She should be FIRED! because they keep destroying the games...

Beloved series of my youth. I just hope they don't screw it up (like the MoO 3). Hope for the best.

World of Tanks, World of Warships and World of Warplanes are all done by different studios, all under Wargaming.nets ownership, Master of Orion is being done by the Studio that was once Gas Powered Games.

Aye as I pointed out GPG was known for thinning down sequels. But then again the first supreme commander is a sequel to. And is way smaller then its predecessor. So I know the game is in safe hands as such... as long as that F2P model stays out of it tbh. They can do what they want with it. And if this fails. GOG still sells the 2nd Orion game dirt cheap.

Fully miniaturized maulers with a full set of beam weapon upgrades are better :)

Well as long as Chris Taylor remains the boss down at Wargaming Seattle and does active work on this game. We have little to fear tbh.

This is what fans of bought up game studios always say... and then some guys higher up decide on finance and target audience and the game gets rap ed

Speaking of which, I just bought the other 3, so I'll give them a shot while I wait for this so I get an idea and what I should be expecting.
