I haven't really seen much backlash against the fact in this campaign, for whatever reason, over half the people in the top 11k have to pay to get their tank?

Are we just numb to this sort of stuff now?

Well .. right now WoT is like a money maker for WG and since the game in now a Business.. everything is possible.

SO  between 4.5k - 11k- players can pay to get the is5.. or to just look at the price and leave it.

Also is a tier 8 thats shoots APCR/ HEAT/HE and looks like IS3& IS8. with this being said,  people will invest some VISA credits to buy it so they can play with it.:child:

Are you [edited]dense? "Have to pay" ? Who the [edited]is forcing you? They're handing out more tanks than the last mini campaign, and then giving people who at least made an effort the option to purchase it if they really want that tank. Personally I would have kept it at 4.5k, but I don't really care how many people have the tank, I don't need to feel special.

You certainly have missed the threads on how much of a money grab this is.

WG are only looking at getting about 200.000 Euro from selling the IS-5 on the EU server (estimate for 100% of the top11k-players buy it)...

It's sad WG doesn't give out other smaller prizes like clan camouflage, inscriptions, T123 etc etc

It would really do something for the clan wars people not being in the top 135 clans

Also epic for a FAME guy to claim WG being too kind :D WG know that most people who worked hard to get top11k are likely to buy the tank or the 10 days have been a complete waste of time (except for the happy moments). That said I certainly enjoyed this campaign more than I did with the others... Seems well organized and fair for the most of it.

Eh, I disagree on this campaign being good. Being able to reset your missions, so you can do them again to get more fame is really dumb.

Ontop of the fact that certain clans had a FAR easier time getting Clan Fame because of timezones, but were still measured by the same metrics. It's like doing a 100 meters sprint, but two of the runners only have to run 80 meters. lol

Glad you enjoyed it though. :)

Yes, the timezones struck me as being a bit weird, but didn't pay much attention to it (basically I think we should have less timezones on the EU server anyway) - However even when it's not perfect it seemed much better than the previous campaigns... I do agree some/all of the missions should only give fame points once or have a fame point penalty if completed several times but I hope thats something they keep in mind for the next

Just a single new swabia with different time zones for landing areas in east and west (a la global map), and a compromise time for space port in centre.  How is that worse than the chosen solution?  How high are the people who decide these things?  I'm jealous.

I like how people fight to drive tonks made after the name of the worst mass-murderer in the history of this world.

Gg comrades.

Yes, because that would be absolutely the only realistic reason for us to play world of tanks... Should we speculate in why 99% of the tanks you drive has a grey base color?
