Hellcat sucks

Yeah come at me. I am probably the only one who despises this rolling coffin.  Weak armor, weak cannon(even the 90 mm) and overall a weak tank.

Add Commander 6th sense & recon skills to the good view range to avoid getting hit.

It got nerfed really heavily some time ago. (About 3-4 patches ago.)

 

Played it recently, yep it sucks hard. I also think it needs a small buff.

 

It's too slow backwards and turning side-ways, the gun is ok, suited for long range sniping as it should be. Back in the day it was a real pain because of the super camo and it could city brawl vs the heavy tanks. Now in SH everybody is rolling with full lights, hellcat doesn't fit in. It's meant to destroy heavies effective. I think it needs to get slightly buffed, like +3km/h going backwards +2° per second turning and -0,1 or -0,2 aiming time. That should bring it back to life.

Still has awesome penetration and alpha, relative good camo, high top speed, good gun depression and a turret.

 

No it is stil a good tank destroyer.

type 64 fills the hellcat role in skirmishes quite nicely. sure lower alpha but so much WIN!

 

I have not played kitty since they nerfed it why would you...

Just as a note though: It hasn't got relatively good camo but amazing camo. It has the third best camo on tier 6, only a fraction behind the Jagpz IV and the SU-100. And effectively it's better than either of those, as turreted vehicles don't lose camo as easily, since they don't have to constantly move their hulls.

Yeh, knew it was still good but I had heard it was nerft. Wasn't that bad apparently. It just used to be overpowered with the insane soft-stats similar to medium tanks.

Personally I don't really like the Hellkitty, bit it is a perfectly competant tier 6 TD.

the 90mm gun is no problem.
Speed is also very good.
But what good is speed if it is hard to turn?
And what good is speed if ruined tower rotation speed, which was small.
And in the Hellcat is worthless, because coming out of a shot.

I see. You want turreted TD's with high speed, high traverse speeds, good gun, and good armor. Dare I ask what the role of other vehicle classes would be, after your proposed buffs to the TD class? :)

It's deserved every bit of nerd, used to be at least two statpadder a per team that would scout better than light tanks, always remain hidden and could brawl with the heavies. I think it's in a good place now

12/12/12 def the tier 1 category XD Hellcat droped the tier 1. the tier1 all tank you hellcat dead.. Tier1 a tank, it shoots through smoothly :)
The only thing that goes fast,
Not synchronized with the rotation of the turret

Look at Cromwell
Medium and
fast speed fast tower rotation and fast gun shotter and normal armor.
And hellcat? Gun ok.
Armor lost. and tower rotation poor.

Pre can run to hide.
But the map is buggy and broken camouflage ...

Much nicer is the synchronous speed of rotation of the turret and armor.
This TD is not true to his name.
Even hell cat. Instead, only mouse in the big game. It will eat one shot

Do I have experience in it.
But it was terribly spoiled due to the tower rotation speed.
2x long ago was that fast. Now they have ruined.
the turret
armor only one thing, it is worth nothing the city or in open space

with the lower 12.12.12 armor, up from just battle Tier2

The Hellcat is not OP, it is just a really mobile TD with a great gun. If you play it like a medium then you will be toast, but that is why it is not a medium. The only downside is the turret traverse speed, but other than that it is my second favorite next to the JagdPanzer IV.

right just had me tea so i can now respond to this idiot.

 

You say you have a 3skill crew and i have no reason to doubt you as you do have over 1200 games in the kitty.  what i would like to know is how you play her.

 

The reason i ask is that you only have a Kill/death ratio of 0.88 with an average damage of 576 and you kill less than 1 red per game.

 

I play as a TD to start with abusing the view range with Binocs, and help support my medium flankers.  Keeping an eye on the minimap, if the flank starts to fail i pull back otherwise i use the speed to keep close enough to keep people within render range but far enough away that with my camo rating i'm never spotted.

 

Secondly what skill/perks do you have.  for me its

 

Cmdr - SS/Camo/BIA and 77% recon

Gunner - BIA/Camo/Snapshot 77% repairs

Driver - BIA/Camo/Smooth ride 77% clutch braking

Radio - BIA/CAmo/Sit Aware 77% repairs

Loader - BIA/CAmo/Repair 77% intuition

 

This loadout has given me a 2.33K/D ratio and average damage of 1083 and 1.4 kills per game.

 

So Hide hide hide just like any other TD and you'll be fine

It's DEAD mate, Russians killed it, CPR, BUFF or Mouth to Mouth will not help the poor Cat.

Now the balance has shifted to Meds & lights, go get a med or light tank more fun, better kill kill....

 

Hell Cat is Hell Dead...

 

@ Tier 6

I wouldn't waste your time with it on the battlefield, get a Cromwell (Tier 6), 10x more fun & better tank,

or get a "M41 Walker bulldog" (USA Tier 7), new Hellcat... till they kill it too....

 

It's like this, when a load of bi^ches moan, tank gets nurffed.... to hell.

Many tanks went this way...

The tower is fucked rotation, maybe if the people want to be camping, rock moguls.
Town and eat at an open target.
On the other hand, I wrote that the concealment mod buggy.
There camouflage nets, camouflage skill and camouflage paint.
The minimap is not worth anything if I did not see anyone on it, me and see me.
Motionless used the bush, there was no spotter nearby
Yet interestingly someone sees me and Extraction.
Or so a lot of cheating on a server?
I do not understand what this premium tank pull the lofty heaven.
You get a new tank and the older ones are no longer worth anything.
And that was good, I ruin it. Examples are the turret rotation, it was not so crappy slow.
I skill: offroad skill, reload skill 10% hp, repaired skill, stealt skill, eagle eye skill, ect..
all members the tank 3 skill 100%
The sky
was not the world cares nothing.
But the tower rotation speed of the entire server this is the most weak armor crap slower.
And not a normal armor, because not only is camping typing just the game, and there are many places where you can not and map.
And we laugh a lot of acquaintances that you are looking tier6 so weak armor.
And while we're boring [edited] that is 5 random map.
Lots of old maps is out of the normal random battles. Many people lack the brute and so boring to have the same five map types

If you think the Hellcat is bad then sorry to say you're an idiot. Is it as good as it was before the "OP OP OP" gang got it nerfed no of course it's not but even after the nerf it's still a great td.

well i gave you my answer.  Yet you seem to have missed the point completely, this is a TANK DESTROYER.  Its meant to Camp, which is why it has such good view range and camo factors.  Its speed is there to allow it to get into position quickly, not go charging to the front line, and i'm guessing this is how you are playing yours, more as a light/medium rather than as a TD.

 

Just to re-iterate for the mentally challenged here its a friggin TD,  play it as such
