If it only didn't catch fire from every pebble thrown at it, i would have liked it. Despite being on fire almost every game, it's an ok tank, but nothing special in my eyes.

Didn't like it, sold it when I got T-44. Felt slower than T-34/85.

At the same tier I prefer DB. Can be trouble even for T-44.

I will also sell the T-43 as soon as I research the T-44, even if I cant afford the T-44 straight away. I just want it away from my tank bar :(

I have slapped everything on it and have a decent crew, but its just so much fail and a bloody pain to get the dailies. I can be top tier and start burning with the first shot that hit me when I present like 20% of my front from behind a rock. Then the rest of the round its so crippled that its useless.

Only some 70K XP left. It's going to drive me insane

How does the T43's accuracy feel compared to the T20? I love the accuracy on my T20 (vent/stab/GLD!) but I have not played T43 and wonder how they compare. The two tanks seem pretty similar on paper otherwise, except for the asplody ammo racks and fuel tanks you were talking about.

Hey M8..I open both med lines(USA/RUSSIA),So if you ask me to compare T43 And T20 In my opinion T20 it's a better tank, sure maybe some of you folks not agree but as i said thats my opinion...Gun on T20(90mm) is more accurate and have same dmg like T10D1OT on T43,T20 is a smaller and more manuverble Tank but T43 have a bit better armour...Surely everithing still depend the way of your playing style so if you are more Scout-Type than no doubt T20 is my advice....

I had quite a winning streak when I first got my t-43. I used free XP to get the tracks and turret straight away so I could mount the 100mm.

What's so good about this tank? T-34 was good with the 57mm. T-34/85 was crappy, a huge target with paper armor and a really slow gun - not what I want from a medium. T-43 the same, it's huge, sluggish, no armor whatsoever and the gun is still not fast enough.

T-44 on the other hand... that's a great tank:)

and T-44 have allot better gun with improved RoF, better alpha damage, better accuracy, better aiming time... and is fighting only low tier tanks...  :P

T-43 is better than T-34/85. The same gun but fires a little bit faster, the armor finally protects at least from some shots (more HPs too) and what's most important - fully upgraded T-43 is faster than T-34/85 in average(in spite of in game specs).

Funny thing, T-43 and T-34-85 have almost the same MM these days.

Well t-34-85 is a marmite tank, and t-43 is just a better version of it (better acceleration, gun, armour and HP). It plays kinda similar to the t-28. Great gun for it's teir, able to rip holes in any target you see..... however you can't really take shots yourself.

They're not the kind of mediums suited to racing towards the front unless you're part of a sizable wolfpack. They're best used to support heavys. Let your team's heavies take the fire, and then manouver so you can hit the sides/weakspots of the enemy when they're distracted.

IMO The KV-13 gets better matchmaking, which combined with its frontal arnour, makes it pretty cool. The T-43 is a nice tank, no dount, bout I can feel the iD10T gun is at its limit (I have no idea what am I going to do with the T-44)

It's the best option for the t44. But use the t44 as a harassment tank detracking and annoying the enemy while arty and the big stuff takes it out. On paper its the weakest tier 8 but its actually a very good tank.

After eliting Patton and E-50 I,ve decided to get to T54 and on my journey I encountered this ..T43.. pile of crap tank.
Its most grey and least funny tank EVER, its manevrability and speed combined with absolute lack of gun depression makes this tank almost useless medium tank I've ever seen. Not possible to play it in first line as a scout, second line is just average because being hunted by snipers as an easy prey, and third line is shit because terribad sniping capability.

Ofc it is possible to kill with it, but it is just dumb and pathetic average no style tank. Playing with it is so boring that I barely manage to sit in it in x5 exp events.

How can you live with it ?:blink::blink::blink:

Yawn.

At least i know what a guy in this tank is up to when i see one by my side/on the other side.
I played 100 battles with it, gave up and bought KV-13.

It is certainly some fun to play but like many I am grinding to T44 rather than playing because I like/love it (unlike the KV )

Big question - I'm tempted NOT to get the D5T - 85BM, save the XP for the T44 but... This will leave the T44 with a stock gun untill I get the turret and can mount the 100mm.  Is this a good idea?  Or should I get the big 85 because the T44 NEEDS it?  I'm sure many of you have had the same thing.

I'd get d5t asap. T44 is enough pain even with it.

Simple, 73% win ratio, 13 victories and 1 defeat just tonight, try to use it right for a change.

T43 and T44 as terrible tanks performance-wise...you get to fight T9/10 all the time with a Tier7 gun.
It wouldnt be bad if it actually used the starts of the D10S, which is the same gun on a different chassis. same gun.

It doesnt feel right to see heavies reload faster than a medium...

Other than that, if i actually manage to get a good battle (me within top half of team) its decent.

Not really, the D-10T is adequate if you keep shooting at the sides of tier 8-10 tanks. Found myself numerous times in the T-43 the last tank in the team, even below arty and still got away with at least 3 kill. Killed with it IS-7, E-100, Patton, E-50, T-54. Just remember you are not supposed to fight them alone, either spot heavy for arty and TD fire or keep mediums lit up and bogged down or support the flank of an attack. In the rest when facing max tier 8 yeah the T-43 kicks ass.
