Compared to the other LTs it's the worst (and it sees T10) - The only thing this excuse for a tank can do reliably is to passive-scout -if you get there first without being spotted (not that easy in this tank).

This tank is sluggish, the gun handling is crap, the autoloader is pathetic compared to the T71 and the Bulldog. The shell velocity is garbage. Even the camo rating feels "off". View range: meh.

Would've preferred to keep the Aufkl. Panther - that at least had a unique playstyle.

Yet another move to make this game less appealing. Well done WG!

This thing (according to paper) should have around 30Hp/ton. Why they have removed like 11hp/ton of it i do not know, letting it reside in the hige20's-25hp/ton ish range would make this thing actual fun, then it would sorta be like the old chaffe but with a bigger gun :3

but no because???

I think the rumoured 6t weight is false. Even with as little armour it has, just look at the size. ELC weights that much and it's smaller for certain.

According to this member from the US forums, it is indeed.

An associate, similar to Xlucine's work on the FV 4202, went to Koblenz and took photos and data on the IRL vehicle for WG's use. Included was a photo of the museum plaque, which lists the combat weight at 9.5 tons and power-to-weight of 20.5 metric horsepower per ton

it struck me as odd that the [Wikipedia] article's table would be off at that little note, since at a passing glance pretty much everything else on it is correct

If the base weight is 9,5t then with equip it can go that high. Not sure why they opted for 3s indrum reload, makes little sense.

I liked the AFK Panth, now i'm at RU and i don't plan to go back at tier 7 -without a good reason as bulldog is- i didn't play on test but from this video i can say that SPIC is kind of weak, sure it has good alpha and penetration but aims way too slow and as shooting while driving forget about it. Autoloader has low damage output compared to other T7 LT's so it is not worth it. The way i see it it this tank will play as a Hellcat or a cautious T49 -but more reliable- good for random to have a easy and even fun pass through to your next one but not really worth a slot in a team.

Unfortunately its a thoroughly average light tank that somehow has the mobility of a medium. The gun, while nice on paper aims too slow and both the in-clip reload and the reload of the entire clip are too slow as well.

I've tested the Wobblin' Gobblin and now my thoughts. I don't like it. The awesome Panther was unique. Good gun and ROF vs. reloading please wait. Deadly rammer vs. fly on the windscreen. Armored vs. nothing. It feels like an very awful T-71 copy. And finally they removed the path to the Indien Panzer. Well 60k XP left for the RU 251 and sell this ****. Best tactic for this tank(?): Hide behind a rock and wait for a miracle;)

What's next WG? Object 140 would be replaced by a Lada Niva with a roof mounted RPG?

I really liked my Aufklärungspanzer Panther and am very disappointed in the SP I C. I agree with the guys who already said that it has poor maneuverability and speed for a LT. The shell speed is also something unexpected and gives too much room for RNG on longer distances and on the move. I would accept this thing as a LT if it would have more powerful engine and better maneuverability. At the moment it has NO redeeming features that you would expect from a tank that is replacing the Aufklärungspanzer Panther. I agree, that the Afk.P was not a good LT but instead a MT with poor MM. But that's what I liked about it, it was a challenge. SP I C is just bad. I'd say it's the worst tier 7 tank in the game at the moment.

I'm only really playing this en route the Leopard and finally get LT15. Other than the Crusader I don't enjoy Lights and struggle generally because I'm no good at the high adrenaline gameplay which WG have plumped for on high tier lights, so I'm not the best judge, but it seems ok.

Small enough and quick enough for some passive spotting. Enough burst damage to be decent in the end game. I imagine that existing auto-loader players will struggle to adjust to the 3sec reload. Also, the aim time is painful.

My main complaint is that it doesn't seem quick or agile enough to be a good all round scout.

I stick with it though, because I think LT15 is more doable than it felt in the Auf...Panther.

I Use Rammer, Vents, coated optics. Smooth Ride and Snap Shot in training to compensate the missing stabilizer. Hope it works.

I'm going for camo net, optics and rammer or vert stab. Not sure yet.

They were retrained as Panther 8,8 crew members.
