Its very challenging/hard to play well.

A bit of a bigger, more sluggish ELC with very serious MM.

So far big fun for me. Still figuring it out.

Like the auto gun better so far.

Nope, it's not like an ELC! ELC has mobility and strength to go over rough terrain, this thing doesn't.

Don't use a rammer on the autoloader.

I started off using optics/vents/rammer with BIA for a 16ish second clip reload. Swapped out rammer for GLD and the clip reload is 18 ish seconds. I cant be bothered doing the maths but ~2 second reduction on clip reload when it takes you 6 seconds to empty the clip certainly wont be the same 10% or so DPM increase that a single shot gun gets from a rammer. Just doesn't seem worth it.

The combination of GLD, BIA, vents, smooth ride and snap shot gets the gunhandling as good as it can be (still not great), and the vents help with view range (only 2% or so but it all adds up).

It plays more like a super stealthy TD than a proper light. It DOES have good camo and 450+ view range with equipment and skills so it can spot as well as anything at tier 7. The 90mm gun ruins your camo when you fire tho (the higher the calibre the bigger the penalty) so however stealthy you may be when you pull the trigger you're going to get lit up.

So don't pull the trigger when theres a good chance getting spotted is going to get you insta gibbed.

After playing 10 battles i managed to do more than 1100 damage per battle with a hit ratio of 76.47% and 1.25 kill/death ratio. As a frequent light tank player i can say that this tank is one of the worst LTs on tier 7. The Walker Bulldog outclasses this German light in almost every way. The only thing i like about the SP 1.C. is the cammo which
seems to work fine even when shooting.

This little baby needs a buff - give it more speed - better aimtime - less time between shots for the autoloader These changes will help the new awful German LT to be more competitive agains the other LTs it encounters.

The problem with comparing it to the Bulldog is that the bulldog is hands down the best tier 7 LT, probably the best tier for tier LT around and frankly a bit OP. Comapare it to the LTTB, 13-75 or wz-131 and its much more favourable. It's up to you to decide what that says about LT balance in this game.

EDIT. And no, this tank will not win a fight with another light. Its autoloader can't do damage fast enough in a 1v1 to do the death against comparable LTs. Doesn't make it bad, just means it doesn't play the same as the other LTs

I like it. I mean, how could I not?

I mean it's tricky enough to play (slow acceleration, inaccurate gun, long inter-clip reload time, longish aimtime, slowish shell velocity) so noobs (like QB for example, who tried it unsuccessfully when streaming yesterday) will never be running around owning everything in sight in that tank. But us, more experienced players, just might.

Ehhh, LTTB is probably actually better than Bulldog. It's just less popular due to lack of lolautoloaderpwn-factor and the terrible depression. Plus having to go through MT-25. But to my knowledge, it's statistically doing better.

Started this tree for the AufklPanther and the indien. Aufklarungspanzer removed and no access to the Indien anymore. What a timesink...

I'm not so enthusiastic about the SP1C. It differs too much from what I had. This one's not for me.

SP1C is very underpowered in the gun and mobility sides. Today I played SP1C, it is nice if you get correct mm, position, map and team in the correct moment... but most of time is the same old story, cannon fodder for op heavies, meds and tds. Maybe the solution is a buff, but... would be better a rework of scouts as a class. ATM I can not understand why:

-Why such awful mobility in some scouts (t50, t21, t37, sp1c, amx12t, amx1357f, amx1375, amx1390...)?

-Why some heavies or mediums or tds, get better armor, mobility, guns, viewrange and mm at the same time??

-Why so many corridor maps that dont allow any spotting?

You can play it from the shadows and let your team deal damage to the enemy team while spotting them, but i like LTs to be able to play them in multi role. Active scouting - passive scouting - arty hunting - fragging crippled enemies - killing incoming LTs. This new German LT is just not good enough for multi role LT gameplay. It needs a LOVE buff from WG.

While that is technically true, but in practice the difference of the effects on camo between calibers is very small. It boils down to just a few meters in effective camo range.

I'm at 71% wins

1036 average XP

1338 average damage now

Granted only 7 matches on the live-server so far however most of the points in my video still stand.

If you're a good player however you'll not have much trouble adjusting to it's playstyle but it's not the best T7 light tank by far.

Is it just me by the way or does this thing have trouble making credits?

The tank is not great, but it's seems better to me than Afk. Panz, I like autolaoder but the autoloader on this is just very bad as far as autoloader goes, still I can't say no to a autoloader gun just like on the T37.

Because why not?

As a former Aufpanther driver: "Because **** you". That's kind of what it feels like, or will, when the RU251 gets an 80% loader.

On a more serious note, it's probably difficult to give all players replacement crew members instead of retraining them. You'd think it would be smoother to retrain the loader for RU251 and give the radioman a free role retraining. I really can't understand why they'd go to the Panther 8.8 nevertheless, it's not like I'm going to train a crew for a premium tank. Heck, it'd even make more sense to retrain them to the T7 Panther.

Doesn't matter too much anyway, as I've a total of three German LT crews I could put into the RU.

So, ErickHV, I see that you've had some more games in this little tank. What are your thoughts about it? Still love it? 36% win rate is kind of low for such a good player as yourself. Please give us your thoughts. :)

Actually I've played it quite a lot now and there has not been any problems with credits. I'm not using much premium consumables on it though, only the repair kit and automatic extinguisher.
Yet I still feel that this tank needs some mobility buff, it really sucks at rough terrain.

The SP1C is already at the top of the lists for damage and wn8 rating for tier 7 lights... it can't be all that bad.
