30 fps isnt really acceptable. 60 should be a minimum, since every millisecond is required

We want a proper benchmark option in the game options menu. This is really important, a replay of intense fighting , may be 45-60 seconds. So we can change the options and adjust the best config, try it on the benchmark. I assume this is a really easy thing to implement, which will take may be 1 hour of one of your programmers time ?

Btw "recommended" in video options menu gives me 30-40 fps, which is not really enough for this game. This game requires minimum 45-50 fps, and 60 fps for best gameplay.

This is not CS, COD etc. WoT is quite slow-paced, when it comes to aiming. 30 FPS is good enough.

Well my 1GB GTX750 can max the game with 40-60FPS :) But I can't get the texture quality to maximum; why not? And if I select maximum the shaders and textures are at high so it's not maxed out then... Can you guys fix this please?

Did you download the standard version of the game? Go to the launcher and there should be a menu at the top where you choose SD and HD

The problem World of Tanks suffer from, which sadly also is quite common in the MMO genre, is poor optimization, sure correct settings is important as you mention in the video, however the engine World of Tanks use is quite dated and the optimization is far from optimal.

Quad core support, SLI/Crossfire support and similar setups ain't something you just tick a box to enable, most don't realize this, but at the same time World of tanks was in it's early development quad core CPU's was the norm.

Personally I find it quite funny that I can run Crysis 3 in a 4K resolution at a stable 60ish FPS, but WoT struggle to achieve the same if I don't turn down/disable some settings, not to mention disable 2 of my GPU's since SLI and WoT don't mix.

Sadly for many players I suspect 60 fps is totally unatainable,

Not everyone has a 2 gig or better graphics card I do but its a basic one so enhanced graphics yes but high settings no.

But the game looks great and dropping to standard graphics does not make for better fps

4 gig memory yes I have that but my system can only use just over 3 gig "thank you Vista"

Processor intel 2.4 gig quad core, pretty good in its day but that was 7 years ago.

So I get a great looking game "looks even better after the 9.9 update but FPS is usually 40s I can hit 50 to 60 but depends very much on the map.

Maybe multicore support would get me a better fps but im not holding my breath.

The video guide was great I will tweak a few settings and who knows maybe I can get another 5-10 fps

Cool video but it will not help me anyway. I have everything switched off or set to low settings but still have 15 fps in average :D

Thumbs up for the video. It certainly helps (though a text version would be more helpful; a video is certainly not the ideal carrier for this kind of information, yet requires much more work).

Unfortunately, though, there is also an element in unpredictability: For example, until the 9.9 update, the battle loaded quite fast, showing me the battle screen with 20 seconds or so of countdown left. Now, all of a sudden I don't leave the loading screen before the first seconds of the battle have passed - I can hear the countdown and all, but before I have to wait out the screen and the first few seconds of FPS <5. Without any changes to my system, that is just weird. And FPS has dropped another two or three points after the update, which can not only be explained by my aging computer.

Considering that introducing multiple core support at this point in the game's age is probably not going to offer a good return of investment, my computer's five idle cores are also are only moderatly happy. :(

I just rediscovered the "classic graphics" button. Now i can play at a constant 30-FPS thanks to who ever made that FPS locking file.

But i didn't needed a 15min "guide" on game options for that :teethhappy:

I get about 30fps, but having got used to 10 for a long time, it's heaven! The low fps definitely makes the game more difficult and my numbers are slowly getting better now so well worth anyone doing all they can to get a few extra frames.
