Starfighter and F100 vs 262 experimental versions? Que?

How the douche can they balance that? No radar/missiles with lock on functions? Even then the Posted Image (if the starfighter gets time to aim before crashing into something or flying off the map) will just rip trough anything.

Amaze me wargaming with some realy out of the box german experimental stuff :)

Once again: the techtree linked in the starting post is purely fan made and has (probably) nothing to do with the official WoWP tech tree.

@Me 262 HG III:

I really doubt that this thing is any more than a hoax. Someone just 'shopped a Lippisch P13 into a Me 262...

Yes, I thought the invasion markings looked odd - partly because they seem to be in different places on different planes, mainly because the video implies (to me anyway) the Blitz - so no reason why the planes would have them.

Like German tank camo, invasion markings are hard to do "wrong" as they were often improvised at airfields by the ground crew.

Lol everything from bi-planes to jets. If they just copy the WoT matchmaker this will be awesome.

Btw, what is the bombers supposed to bomb?

HG3 looks like it ought to be able to keep up with an F100, if it gets fantasy engines to give it the power it'll need.

Course a Heinkel P 1079 would be better I think.

That Heinkel P 1079 thing looks cool. Anyway fear not British tech tree will be added to WoWP after the Japanese, Italian,French,Norwegian and Brazilian tech tress.

*Warning joke present*

All of the tech trees that people have seen have no official meaning, they are all fan made ones from some Russian website and they are not the actual ones being used in-game so if you see any planes that are significantly out of place don't worry about it. These are not official and are ALL fan made. Nothing official is released yet.

No your forum account details do not pass over to the forum, you need to make a new account over there.

The bombers are currently not planned to be playable but will be in the game as part of the game modes you can play. You can escort bombers and the other team has to intercept and attack them and you have to get them to their target so they drop the bombs, that's all that has been said so far about bombers over on the WoWP forums, I suggest now that they are fully operational you head over there are you can find answers to alot of the questions people are asking.

If bombers are not playable why is 1/3 of the entire German tree bombers?  Dornier 17, 217, Junkers 88, 188, 288, Heinkel 111, 177 etc. these are all bombers.  all the Yellow aircraft in the US tree appear to be either dive bombers or torpedo bombers.
What I read in PC Gamer magazine was that only bombers can attack the enemy base. Aeroplanes can't cap a point, so they try and DESTROY the enemy base, and the fighters try either to stop the other side's bombers before they do so, or escort their own bombers.

That tech tree is fan made. Nothing has been released officially yet.

Yes I've signed an NDA but I believe I can tell you without breaching it that the actual knowledge us alpha testers have of the final tech trees is very minimal. We don't know what the final trees or even beta trees will look like yet, we are testing the planes themselves, the maps and the game mechanics.

To effectively test the trees they would need a much bigger sample of people, such as as CBT because each person's opinion will vary and with a small sample size you are going to get a range of opinions but only a few people believing in each one. With the CBT you can see the general trend of opinion much easier and see how long certain branches are taking to go progress through and how well these branches are performing as opposed to the others.

Any trees you guys have seen so far are entirely community based and may not reflect the actual trees at all. Until the actual planned trees are shown people should just remain calm and then if they are shown and the Americans get an F104 Starfighter while the Germans just get an ME262 with some rockets and bigger cannons then you can all have a fit, but I am positive that this wont happen. There will be alot of thought put into these trees and alot of books read to look for planes to fill certain blanks :)

Guys

Why do you think

That The UK used 4 x 30 ADEN and France 4 x 30 DEFA cannons? instead of the proposed M61 Gatling?

Because one 30x113mm round>huge pile of rounds of rather low powerd 20mm shells from Vulcan

you DO know it only took 4 rounds sometimes from a 30mm MK 108 to bring down an allied bomber? right?
And ME 262 has 4 of those beasts

But the real question is

WHERE IS THE GODDAM AIRA/KING COBRA WITH ITS MIGHTY 37mm M4 AUTOCANNON?

Edit=OH wait nvm found it
