I was checking out the gift shop late this evening & noticed that the tier 7 (British heavy) FV201 is available to buy in bundles what is everyone's thoughts?? I like how they are at least making people play some battles even if it just 9 to apply the keys from the bundles the price is interesting not sure whether it is suitably priced or not but.

10 minutes late they removed the bundles Not sure why?

I think you can play just one with the Pnd 38.51 package? The Pnd 12,51 is the price after 45 keys. Grinding out the keys is not hard if the requirements are similar to NA. The annoying part is where you have to get the kills/xp requirement on the FV 201 in a week or so when it is a rental. At the end of the month they will be popping up all over the place but at least it is a new tank.

The tank is not worth £38 for the general player. I'd only ever recommend to highly skilled players or players who can use it's unique playstyle.

You've stumbled upon a premium shop blunder. They obviously weren't supposed to release this information yet, so thank you for sharing. This pretty much confirms that they're finally going to be running the FV 201 missions in August.

The price does seem off however, as £38.51 would make it the most expensive premium tank available, with the tier VIII 112 at £31.35 and the Lowe at £31.21.

Other tier VII premium tanks AT 15A and SU-122-44 are £17.82 and £18.39 respectively.

*Edit*
Well, looks like this is a fake. Sure fooled me at 2am.

I have it on NA server.

Do the 45 keys in dailies, spend the $15..........what I did.  A45 is okay, decent crew trainer and it can do fine.

Tog II gun, so not that good, front hull ammo rack, and the turret you can pen the mantlet with its own premium ammo.

It looks like complete crap, I can tell you that much. Not that the 17 pounder is a bad gun, but it is just not very competetive anymore on tier 7, Especially not on a tier 7 HT that sees tier 8 frequently.

That's my point. An average player will just do awful in this. Only a skilled player or someone who likes the tanks playstyle may be able to salvage it. I'm not saying by any means good players should buy this terrible tank.

It's a mission reward that won't see general sale though, right? The tokens for the WZ-111's mission, if you bought them all, would make that tank cost something like £50. However if you complete at least half of the mission, even if you end up having to buy the rest of the tokens, it starts to become cheap for its tier.

The A45 is a nice premium tank.

I would consider it to being a stock Caernavron, with tier 7 MM.

It is opposite to the Black Prince in that it cannot rely on armor and angling to survive and bring it's dpm to effect, rather usefull mobility (for a heavy), good gun depression, and excellent dpm to make it's money.

As top tier it will be a massive killer.

As middle tier it will be an excellent support tank/perma-tracking/sniping heavy.

As bottom tier, well, it is fubar.

On the NA server, I completed 90% of the FTP key requirement, bought the remaining keys so i get to test it before the masses of them showed up,  then played 4 games in it on the rental, and pulled out my CC and paid the 15$ since I rather liked it.

If u dont like brit heavy game style of tier 5-8, u will most definately not like the A45.  If u do, it is an instabuy.

BTW, in the 8 days of rental, I would seriously advise going for all your kill heavy tank missions.  Many games with 5-7 A45's on each team.

On NA the tank is literally cancer. 3-7 of them in every t7-9 game and pretty much the team with more of them loses (kinda like in the old days the team with more KVs won - i mean the T5 KV with the KV2 derp). And the tank is just terribad.

Those prices in USD suggest you were on the NA shop.  EU shop always shows prices in local currency and Euros.

I thought it would be an easy mission.

http://worldoftanks.com/en/news/pc-browser/22/freedom-to-play/

The problem is that they force you to 200k XP and 200 kills in 8 days to really get it. I guess it could be a crew trainer, but I may skip on this one. Getting the keys is not hard, but the last bit may require 15 euro, as you would need to grind around 30k XP a day in a single tank (which isn't that great).

So...it turns out to be a troll post, whether inadvertent or not. Yes, that is from the NA shop, not the EU.
